So last time I left off getting the Franklin Badge from Paula. Now we go to fight Mr. Carpainter!
But Pokey decides to get mind controlled >.<
After beating his minions I make my way back to Happy Happy Village. I train a bit with the Insane Cultists.
I think I'm ready to fight him now. Headed into his building to find this:
Prayer service. Took me a while to realize some of them move out the way and some of them you have to fight.
After clearing the giant blue maze, I made my way upward.
Was expecting something to happen. Effects as visible as splash.
Now we're at Mr. Carpainter! He asks us if we want to be his assistant. I tried being a good boy and said yes, got accused of lying. He tried to strike us with Lightning, but thankfully the Franklin Badge saved us. Now the real battle begins. He starts with a Crash Boom Banger, only to have it reflected back at him. The battle was relatively easy, just a few PSI Rockin's and him not knowing Franklin Badge reflects stuff and bam the battle is over.
I didn't take a pic but I also got PSI Rockin beta from this battle as well.
We got the key to Paula's cell! We can save her now.

So now I head back to the Mountain Cabin and opened Paula's cell. She needs to be escorted back to Twoson, and apparently she is a PSI user as well, already knowing PSI Freeze.
So while taking her back to Twoson, she accidentally got KO'd by an exploding tree (why do these exist!?). So Ness again had to go through alone, make it back to Twoson, and get Paula cured at the hospital.
That is where I left off, next tine around I'll probably train Paula some more to endure a hit and at least get near Ness's level (she is level 5).
By the way I gave Paula a Hard hat to wear before heading back..
