Sonic 2 Android Review

Sonic 2 is a platformer where your main goal is to get to the end of a level and free your animal friends from becoming slaves. Each level is split into two parts the first part where you get to the end to the level and the second part where you get to the end and fight the boss which are pretty easy. In sonic 2 there were three new editions that weren't in the first game. A new special stage that you can enter by having fifty rings touching a checkpoint and jumping in the circle of stars. In this bonus stage you have to collect rings in a 3d environment if you get enough rings you get a chaos emerald get all seven you can turn into super sonic. This game also introduced sonic's companion tails. A new move called the spin dash was also introduced press down and the jump button to go into a ball and zoom off. In the mobile edition they added a few new things, like the new stage hidden palace zone that originally was going to be in the genesis version but had to be cut. You can also play as knuckles without needing the sonic and knuckles add on and the mobile version will have better graphics and a time trial. Sonic 2 is one of my favorite games to play over and over again. I would recommend this to anybody who likes platformers. I give this game a 9/10 because the game is a little too short it can easily be beaten in two hours but those two hours are two hours of fun
