These Fun Facts pertaining to Super Mario 3D Land were developed over the course of 9 months. Although not many, each fact took a fair amount of time to develop. Indeed: "Develop," which in this case means none of the facts you're about to read were extracted from any outside sources other than myself! Despite how unimpressive that claim may sound, I hope you enjoy the fun facts presented below! 
FUN FACT #1
In either W7-3 or S3-3, if you jump off the stump in this direction you will be killed instantly!
FUN FACT #2
In W2-2, the timer will always be 10 seconds off when you finish the level.
FUN FACT #3
Using the right technique, you can manipulate arrow blocks to go extremely high up in the air! (The shadow above Luigi is the shadow of an arrow block)
FUN FACT #4
In W5-1, it is possible to get to the other side using only Mario or Luigi's regular leap abilities.
FUN FACT #5
In W8-6, you can use two of the metal wheels (beginning and end) as hamster wheels. However, death is inevitable using the first wheel in the same manner; as it sinks as you progress.
FUN FACT #6
The amount of time it takes for Mario or Luigi to run across a world varies upon two factors:
1) Circle-Pad/D-Pad [Apprx. 4.7 sec]
2) Touch Screen [Apprx. 3.7 sec]
FUN FACT #7 / TUTORIAL!
In W7-5, there is a way to make the camera think you are in the area shown in the picture when you're actually not. (see tutorial in the spoiler below)

STEP 1
Use the Tanooki Leaf with either Mario or Luigi (Luigi is recommended).
STEP 2
Get to this part of the level:
STEP 3
Quickly leap off into the direction shown before the platform collapses. (As a fair warning: if you leap too far to the right you will die, so don't do that...)
STEP 4
A split second after you leap, the screen will go haywire and move to this area of the level. Make sure to keep moving in the direction you jumped to experience the full effect of this glitch. It will only last for as long as a couple of seconds, but it's pretty awesome while it lasts!
