Zelda finished cleaning up the last plate and placed it within a cabinet. She helped Lynette sweep the floors of crumbs until the chef Tortė announced it was closing time.
She looked over to see Lynette busy with the task, and Lynette looked up to see her.
"How are you Tetra?" Lynette asks Zelda, while placing the broom she used in a closet.
"I'm beat from today. But other than that, I'm well."
"That's good," Lynette commented.
She worked hard serving the customers who came, and memorizing what Lynette taught her, and even after a few incidents the day went smoothly.
"Thanks again." she said happily.
"You're welcome, I was happy to help."
Zelda stepped outside of the kitchen, she chatted with Lynette along the way when a figure brushed passed them. She saw it was a mailman, he ran to a house delivering his last letter. Looking carefully, she saw it was Link and giggled.
"What is it?" Lynette asked,
"That man up there is my friend, Liam." Zelda answered, Lynette looks over and also giggles.
"He looks tired." Lynette noticed.
"I wouldn't be surprised, they cover alot of ground to deliver everyone's mail."
Zelda waved at Link, and he waved back to her. Link eventually joined the two girls. He was short of breath, and was hunched over panting.
"So you're a mailman now eh?" Zelda asked him amused, he nods his head. Suddenly, another figure ran past the three. It was another mailman, he soon traveled backwards and brushed in front of Link again.
"Here's your pay kid," the mailman said as he threw a red rupee to him, "better book a room soon, it's getting dark." and he dashed off.
"He's right." Zelda agreed, and waved to Lynette. "Good night Lynette, I'll see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow Tetra." Lynette smiled.
They were both exhausted from working most of the day, and were anxious to sleep in their beds for today - one if need be. Zelda looks ahead noticing a glow from a small building, "I think that's the place Link." she pointed, and Link nodded in agreement.
