Yes pedia is a place for 3DS and Wii U players to come together and play games. Yes we talk and play eith each other. Yes there are eShop codes that members can receive. But please, in the midst of trying to get one don't go about doing the wrong things, everyone hates it. So without further ado, let's make the list!
In the end, it's common sense
- Don't expect to get an eShop card on your first day/week/month on Pedia - eShop codes are one of the main attractions here, although it's not like the codes just come from thin air for members to use. These codes are bought by people like Marc to give to the people that deserve the reward the most. He doesn't buy codes everyday to give to members, only on special occasions when someone wins a pedia event or buys them with pc. This place is meant for talking and playing games, not just stacking eShop codes.
- Don't go into the Nookling Junction and try to lower prices on everything - This is just common sense. I've seen countless occasions where someone is auctioning/selling content such as SSB4 DLC and someone asks the seller to lower the price to an unfair amount. The seller is also a person, and they wished to pay extra money for a code to sell for pc, and since they are paying real money for it they should get a pc amount that is worth and fair. There is a basic conversion on PC to USD here if you want to see how much something would actually be worth.
- Don't go randomly PM'ing people asking for codes - This one happened recently to me, and probably to some other members too. I had a PM from someone who just straight up told me to give him a Cloud Wii U code FOR FREE. I was not about to spend $7 on a code for someone I haven't even met until that day, and don't even think about it if you want it free. Putting a sob story and 500 emotes won't help your cause either, just sayin'.
- Don't go begging into the ShoutBox for PC or codes - IT'S ANNOYING. That's as simple as it gets. The ShoutBox is just for us members to come together and talk or play games with each other in real time. We don't like it when someone just comes into the middle of our conversation with 50 emotes and a jammed caps lock button asking for coins or codes. It's like saying you are talking to your friend about something then this random person you don't even know just tells you to give him $5. Just why?
- Don't spam threads with unrelated stuff - This is aa rare one but I see people post a thread about one thing and then one person just replies to it with something that doesn't even pertain to the topic, or just the sub forum it's in. This is the equivalent of you asking someone a question about your homework and they respond with how much they hate the class or what they are going to do over the weekend.
In the end, it's common sense
