Xenoblade Chronicles 3D Re-Review

Story

In the world of Xenoblade Chronicles there is a waging war between the life of Bionis: the Homs and the life of Mechonis: the Mechon, The Mechon have one purpose: Destroy all life on Bionis, One year has passed sense the last major battle now Mechon have descended on Colony 9 and it's up to Shulk, Reyn and the rest of the playable characters to defend not only Colony 9,but all life on Bionis

Game-play

Xenoblade Chronicles is a JRPG but not in the sense you would think, it's not a Turn Based JRPG but instead the you attack enemies using "Arts". "arts" are your way of dealing a ton of damage, think of it like Magic or a Critical Hit, When your not using any or your Arts, your auto attacking, Auto attacking is like your Basic Attacks, your auto attack does not do to much damage thought, but the auto attack damage can be increased with Gems, Gems special stones that can be equipped to well, your weapons and equipment, The Gems can raise your HP,Attack rate and even the amount EXP you receive

you may also notice your art's are different Colors, Red, Light Red, Blue, Green, yellow, orange, purple, and Grey, what these Colors mean are as followed

Red: A Strong Physical Art
Light Red: An Art that will inflict Break
Green: An Art that will inflict Topple on a enemy suffering from break
Yellow: An Art that will inflict Daze on an enemy suffering from Topple
Purple: this can mean a viratiy of things, these arts can be ether based or Physical Based
Blue: these Art are used for setting up or increasing Defense
Orange: this arts can be extremely useful if your on the verge of death, explain more about these arts could spoil the game so I won't
and finally
Grey Arts: are your Talent Art, a Talent Art is the Strongest Attack a Character, for Example the Character Shulk's Talent Art is activating the Monado Arts,From Here you can choose a Monado Art such as Monado Buster

you can lock on to an enemy using the L or R buttons, You can use the C- Stick to move the Camera,The ZR button to open the Quick Travel Map the circle pad let's you move, that's obvious thought
also the B button let's you jump...that's all

Final Thoughts

Xenoblade Chronicles isn't a game for everyone, but it doesn't hurt to give it a chance, if your not a fan of JRPG's or RPG's in general maybe think about giving this game a chance, you may be surprised and may even like it, however as this game is an RPG it is incredibly long clocking in at about 200 hours. if your up for that Challenge then got for it, if not, play it at your leisure if that's your sort of thing, this is one journey that will stick with you.

from a reviewer stand point, it's not the Best looking game on the 3ds by any means, but that stop this game from being an amazing game and well worth the 40 bucks your paying for it,if your playing it on the new 3ds, the controls handle like a dream but there are a few hiccups at times but that is to expect with a game of it's magnitude. it I was grading this game out of 100, it would get I'd say about a
88/100

Extra thoughts

There is a few things I didn't cover in this Review but that was so I didn't take away from the Charm of the game, this game is something that is better experience than explained, there so much in Xenoblade that it would be nearly impossible for me to explain it even in this review, this game is massive with so much to see and do, including some Challenging fights and some Beautiful moments that will make you just want to stand and look at the amazing world, This is Xenoblade Chronicles

A note: The main story by itself is only ~60-ish hours long, playing at a relaxed pace. Doing all the sidequests and 100%'ing the game will get you ~170 hours with a relaxed pace.
It's improved a bit more than the last one. I also like the layout better. I should look into this game a bit more just for fun sometime.
Much better than the last one.

Could have been a lot more impressive with a good beginning and presentation and punctuation, but a real improvement. Plus there are too many in-depth details where just an overview is required (e.g. colour coded arts) and the conclusion doesn't really come off well, with terms like 'from a reviewer's standpoint' and 'there were a few things I couldn't cover in this review,' but even so, this was a big step and you did decent \o Good luck with ones you do in the future
