Also, does the Species Clause affect only each individual player or both? For example, I bring Aerodactyl and Sam does the same (geddit? Sam --> Same? *ba dum tss*). Is that not allowed by the Species Clause?

I feel the best way to explain those bans would be that it's like history. It's written by the maker, even if it leaves you lost at sea with a paddle asking what just happened. Seriously, could we just have a vanilla OU tournament, though?
