3DS Update - October 6, 2014 - THEMES!!!

Yes, the long awaited THEME update has now come out on the Nintendo 3DS!!!

Included in this update:
-Major- THEMES!
-New Home Menu Settings
-Can Now take screenshots of 3DS Home Menu (Y+Up on the DPad for top screen, Y+Down on the DPad for lower screen)
-Theme Shop (Buy themes, Most themes are around $1 - $2)
-New way to access 3DS Image Share (Through Home Menu Settings)

Did anybody notice that Face Raiders lags the console? Also it lags when resicing icons.

I just updated my 3DS. The themes look nice. The free blue one is my favorite from what I've seen so far. I still have to check out all of the paid ones and yeah, I might grab one for myself since I have an extra $2 to spare in my eShop balance,

Stop wasting your money on stupid themes guys. There should've been some free themes as well (not the solid red/blue crap) but game themes for free, even Microsoft offers free themes on Xbox in addition to paid ones. $2/£1.75 is way too much for just a theme. Another new way of ripping gamer's hard earned money. Nintendo should've made a new Mario game, at least that's a more popular way of ripping off people.

At first, I was like: "Yay, This update rocks!", then, I tried to set up HomePass for SSB4. Well, my reaction totally changed.
Yep, "attwifi" is no longer considered by the console as a possible StreetPass relay, and thus, HomePass stopped working for some people (including me). However, people reported that NZ@McD1 works, and since this is a German McDonalds Nintendo Zone... /Spoilers, Spoilers! Hint: Demo, Wanted, Hype./

I think they are neat and much better looking than the old one. It needed the update badly. I don't think I really need any themes but I guess they would be nice to have in case I want to change it to something else that isn't a solid color. A Mother/ Earthbound theme is an instant buy for me so DO NINTENDO! That's all I have to say.

On the console or the video? Remember the video is 30fps and the console 60fps.

That price is actually quite common including on the PS3, still including free themes, or at least more colors and offer variation like Japan would be nice.

And I don't think they want to rip off money, it's just a decoration (I still think they need to offer free stuff as well).
Do you want to add something to the console cover? Done.
Do you want to add a sticker on the console? Done.
Do you want to change your home menu? Okay, I can buy a theme.

I've had to put up with a long update process due to my laggy internet. xD
Though an error occurred twice, it picked up where it left off, and was done. Gotta say, though. It was worth the wait. Even the free themes all look really nice. And is it just me, or is scrolling the startup screen even easier?

While I'm generally against paid things I don't really mind here because it's completely cosmetic, so I view it like mmos, where it's nice to have and that's about it. I have to say though, I love the link between worlds one.
