"Almost all 3DS games are counted as long as they're not from the same series. For example, reporting that you have finished Project X Zone and Project X Zone 2 will only give you one emblem, the Project X Zone emblem. It's the same for games within the same series such as Mario." -Marc
These are the rules for 3ds games, and while lost world is third party and may or may not be accepted, generations is fair game due to being on the 3ds, not wiiu, meaning he should get an emblem.

Yeah, as long as you can prove that you're the person and that you "beat" the game.

Sonic Generations can be rewarded an emblem as it's a 3DS only game
However, Sonic Lost World will be an awkward game to deal with since you have a Wii U version (which is not accepted) and a 3DS version (which will be accepted)

I just mistaken Sonic Generations as a Wii U game
I can't edit it anymore though

Sonic Lost World is accepted as a sonic game. It's on Wii u, part of a main series everyone knows, counts for it
