There are a lot of great Wide Guard users like Aegislash and Aerodactyl, pick one and try it out.

Yea I think I trust using Wide Guard when I want the ally Pokemon to stat boost or something. I also think that Wide Guard would work great when using moves such as Earthquake which attacks all targets. And as far as Wide Guard users, I'm learning towards Torterra or Swampert, since both can be pretty good for supporting. Thoughts?

It'd be fine depending on the rest of your team, try it out. Don't neglect Protect though, and know that Follow Me, Rage Power, and Helping Hand are pretty fun toys to have, too.
