Fairy type makes Charizard X less lethal.
A DD set up with wide coverage is a more appropriate approach. Although Outrage is awesome, being locked into it will basically waste your Mega Charizard. Pokemon like Aegisslash laugh at dragons trapped in an outrage.

Not really, because Fire resists fairy. That means Charizard X simply takes neutral damage from fairy. And Outrage isn't the only move, but it's a popular one with dragon types (and on the off-chance you happen to hit a fairy, you're unlocked from it).

This poll lacks Mega Scizor. Sadness.

I would have added him and the other megas, but there was limited space and I accidentally posted the thread when I wanted to delete the poll lol

Well I had no idea, I though that Charizard X was hopeless against Fairy Types.

Yeah, it's not a surprising misconception. I mean, most assume that Dragon means screwed against fairies. Another dragon that's like Mega Charizard X in the sense that it takes neutral damage from fairies is Dragalge (Poison/Dragon).

yeah, mega blaziken is basically a buffed dw blaziken. With that said though, mega Lucario is also really good because Adaptability :p

Notice that I said "less lethal" and what I mean is that Charizard X will likely run dragon moves so it can be predicted. However, Charizard X can hold tuff against Fairy types because of Steel Wing, and most Fairy Types are low in terms of natural defense. But even neutral typing won't protect Charizard X. Fairy Types are heavy special attackers and Charizard X only gets a slight bonus in regular defense. And who's to say that Fairy types are limited to only Fairy moves?

Your countermeasure doesn't carry much weight, but I understand what you're trying to get across.

And Mega Blaziken will be banned from OU because of the same reason that DW Blaziken was banned. That's at least what's expected. Personally, Blaziken isn't truly that great. Aegisslash is very reliable for getting rid of sweepers that are physically based. And any other sweeper lacks enough bulk to carry out. I'm just blabbering here, just be well prepared and your team can handle anything, that's the main point I'm trying to get across.

And Banette is slow. It lacks defense. And the only reason people would use it is for Prankster, and it can barely survive for one move.... Of course, that Pokemon would prove useful to cripple physical attackers that can get burnt, and Ghost typing is cool, but it's usefulness is only extent that far.

Well, the thing is you can't really predict which mega is going to be activated. So on the first turn there's a bit of unpredictability if it's a fairy out on the field. However, on the off-chance that a fairy is sent afterward, a move like Flare Blitz can do massive damage.

Nobody likes Mega Venausaur, why, I haven't played the game as yet, so I am unknown to his movepool, and how stong is it when Mega Evolved ?

I agree with you, it has Thick Fat as a mega ability which reduce damage from Ice and Fire both of them are its weakness, if that is not enough mega evolving icrease its defence and Sp.defence greatly. why then is it hated ?
I am going to choose bulbasaur as my starter just for its mega !

I had no idea that he had the Thick Fat (Mega Ability) well, I think Mega Venusaur sounds like an awesome Pokemon, I guess most people just favorite Charizard and Blastoise more.

My favorite of those is Mega Charizard Y, he can use the drought ability to summon the sun in battle its much better than Ninetails for sun team, i also think its going to be the mega of ash and his charizard.

Thick Fat only does so much. Chlorophyll was a better ability. And in any case that doesn't stop Charizard because Charizard could just use a flying type attack against it (or STAB Tough Claws Outrage if in Mega X form).
