You're underestimating this thing.
Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Innards Out
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Pain Split
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Recover
So if you don't know how this ability works, it's a really OP version of Aftermath, that's much more like Destiny Bond. It's an odd and efficient counter to a lot of different glass cannons, because when you kill it, you're probably going with it. For our purposes though, it probably shouldn't be counted, but this mon is as broken as Zygarde.
I say again, I want this banned.
And, @N, it's so very appropriate.
The thing is, that it has little HP, so any Pokémon over its base Hp can hit it without fear.
Also, another thing is that has low HP, but high defenses, meaning that it will be 2HKOed by a lot of moves, so is not that hard to play around this thing, by chiping it away, or setting up using a mon with high HP and reliable recovery, like Zard X or Altaria
And this thing is not even near the power level of freacking Zygarde-C, Zygarde-C was way too easy to set up, and had more bulk than Chansey, with a Ground STAB move that hits flying Pokémon. Zygarde-C is one of the most broken Pokémon we ever had in OU (imo, right behind Mence and Gengar)
Pyukumuku is just a nice (and really really passive) support mon that punishes you by OHKOing it. Is easier to play around it than you think it is. And it will get worse after the potential Baton Pass ban (a mandatory move that every Pykumuku should be using, if not, you are wasting one of the coolest pivots in the game) and the ban of Memento, after the Z-Memento glitch (imo, Pyukumuku best set)
Also, Pykumuku can't counter Raichu, since Raichu clicks Tbolt twice (or Tbolt + Surfing Z whatever) and kills it, taking very little from Pykumuku's ability
252 SpA Raichu-Alola Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Pyukumuku: 144-170 (45.8 - 54.1%) -- 50.8% chance to 2HKO
Remember that Pykumuku's ability only does damage depending of the amount of HP that Pykumuku has left
This would be a great counter to Raichu imo
Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Bone
- Will-O-Wisp
- Fire Punch
- Stealth Rock
Marowak Alola is surprisingly good... like really good
I checks and counters most of the meta, including mons like Koko, Pheromosa, Kartana, Magearna, Celesteela, Raichu, Scizor, Ferrothorn, Ninetales, etc.
It can switch into any of Raichu's moves, take another one and OHKO with Shadow Bone
