It's something I saw in college. Write something in a hurry -> use whole page and make it untidy on purpose so it looks hurried.
And he had it in an inner, partially fireproof pocket or something. Or Monokuma removed him before he fully burned.
Anyway.....
Syn was looking from the paper to Jack to Monokuma, and all of a sudden he grinned, a malicious grin that really was a lot like Monokuma's.
Syn: you know, I don't think this is a g at all. WHAT DO YOU THINK, MONOKUMA? HUH!?
Monokuma stopped laughing at once. Then he went silent and his eyes stopped glowing.
Syn: Monokuma? Oi, bear? ...
Monos jam didn't respond.
Syn: guys, I think he's shut down.
(But that proves that he isn't Sgt. Snuffles after all)

Syn: It was just a shot in the dark but it hit its mark. It could be 'Super Anything' or it could be the former Hope's student's talent written direct: Sleuth, Swimmer, Scion, Shaman... I think we can rule out the SHSL Luckster, he seems too much of a goody-goody guy to have done this, and the Bookworm is, well, dead.
We need to search the places related to their talents. The archives, the swimming pool... and we should check our own rooms because they used to belong to the old students.

Ah well, I didn't mean it for come to much except finding a bloodied towel with bits of gore on it in a side room of the pool area.
The students found a bloodied towel with bits of gore on it in a side room of the pool area. So Fukawa's eyes had been gouged out by a towel, indeed.
But the rest of their investigations came to nothing, and the Class Trial never happened. Night went. Day came. Monokuma stayed silent for a week. Very mysterious... but it was clear enough that our heroes had scared the Puppetmaster into silence.

Monokuma's inanimation had resulted in him becoming Riko's replacement for Sgt. Snuffles, and he sat next to her in the cafeteria. His grin had faltered.
One week later, at breakfast...
Syn: We can't stay here our whole lives because he's being silent. Why don't we just go and put him on trial ourselves? Then he'll be forced to show up, because if he doesn't we'll just name him and the decision'll go against him anyway.
For all the rooms in the school were still unlocked, except the Surveillance Room which was unlocked but seemed to be barricaded. So the courtroom was unlocked.
