Support Needed Do you hate region lock !?

Yes! Whenever I go to a different country I can't buy games... PS Vita can do that, come on... Seriously? Nintendo should really take the region lock off. Why Nintendo Why?

It's really sucks from nintendo every other company game have there game region free so nintendo must join the other and stop this blocking

Come on, don't act like kids. The DS was region free, because the Japanese-Chinese-Korean fonts were stored in the cartridge, and not in the kernel. And actually, the 3DS wouldn't recognize those fonts if they were in 3DS games, as the font table is stored in the system.

And actually, Region Lock is made to prevent the system from loading unavailable fonts and causing a fatal error. What do you want, having a working, but region-locked 3DS, or a region free out-of-use 3DS, caused by non-US/PAL cartridges ?

Well it's not THAT bad, I buy most of my games from the eshop but still I don't like the fact that the 3DS is region locked. With the eShop you can download games wherever you are so thats an advantage to the 3DS.

Yet, regian lock protect our nintendo still I hate because one time I buy a Japanese game card game and it was expensive too and at time I don't know about region lock as I reach home I try my new game but it doesn't work i was total amazed that happens.that's why I hate regio lock.

I sure don't like region-lock but the 3ds is already more avdanced with the eshop as Awesome Dude says . Though the reason may not be very clear ... I think that Nintendo put region-lock for the better and people shouldn't be hating it because it may be protecting the console in some ways we would never know
