Complete all the pokemon contests, you'll get some nice surprisses, trust me, even when you get tired of them. (If you do get tired, then i'll tell you what if you want me). My goal in emerald and forward was always getting the highest star/colour for the trainer card. Only too bad that other players get to see this only when communicating close by(if still in this gen, idk).
