Gen 6 How to catch a Shiny with Chain Fishing Method?

It is actually very easy to use this method as I realised yesterday. It didnt even take me 20 min to catch two shinies; a shiny poliwhirl and dragalge. We just need to fish in a corner using a pokemon with suction cups ability at the front of the party. I got a shiny at the eighth pokemon of my chain which was the fastest shiny i got using the chain fishing method.
I used the same method but I got three within ten min.

Can you chain anywhere though for different pokemon, like on a beach? Obviously not all the pokemon can be caught in areas with rocks like that. And I'd like a shiny tentacool/tentacruel!

Thanks for the tutorial, I'd heard of the technique before but didn't realise I needed suction cups.

Oh that's awesome! Good thing I have a Malamar with suction cups. Someone told me about this earlier but they didn't explain it very well. I'm glad you explained it better! Some day (when I have patience) I'm gonna test this out! I know it works because some people have gotten shinies this way :D

Will my pokemon holding a smoke ball affect getting a shiny via this method?

you must go whit surf and using a fishing rod. You whill remain in the same position than you are... and fishing.. and fishing.. and fishing.. and fishing (you whill not fight or the nuber of tentativeses whill restart! (also sign your tentativeses on a blank page)) and you finally found the shiny pokemon! (you can fight him at your own risk)

Yeah chain fishing is pretty easy. I remember I was there when that guy first explained about it on gamefaqs. As soon as i did the steps and got a shiny clawitizer in 20 encounters I was jumping for joy.

Then it got boring really fast, and the trade value went really down for them. At least shiny Dragalge is still sexy.

Not too bad so you're created you're own technique and does it work.

Radar Chaining is easier in areas with a low variety of species, but I agree, using the Pokémon Radar is quite tedious.

Chain-fishing, huh? That'll be a chore if you use one of these:

this is freaking awesome.

Yes, You can keep a Fainted poke with Suction cups in front, that's what I normally do.

No, Idea. I haven't tried this method in ORAS because I don't own it. However, if somebody does try it out in ORAS then do let us know so I can update the OP with the information.
