Last movie you saw

The Adventures of Chatran (Japanese version of the Adventures of Milo and Otis). Good god, I never cried so hard at a movie before. It was so sad at some parts and the fact that almost the whole OST contains sad songs, it's much more depressing than the American Version. Still is a well made movie however, and the behind the scenes clip they made shows that it was made with good care and supervision.

The movie before that I saw was the Godzilla 2014 reboot in a theater. Completely different change of pace, but I enjoyed that movie a lot as well.

The last movie I saw was Old Yeller, original.

I actually watched Ramona and Beezus on a plane. Being on a plane makes you do strange things.

Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. I've spent like the last week or so catching up on the Marvel films and must admit, each one has been an absolute masterpiece and this one is probably one of the best yet. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D makes so much more sense now, and I think we should see Phil Coulson make an appearance in a future movie (possibly even Avengers 2, not sure if they said he wouldn't be in it) as he is apparently the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D after the end of season 1. Anyways, the film was excellent all through out and Captain America is an inspiration. :p

The Grudge, wasn't really what I hoped for  the story was awful, it wasn't in chronological order, so you had to figure out for yourself what the correct order of happenings was, which was really hard, because all the scenes were alike; the music becomes louder and louder and then a jump-scare. There were just too many horror-movie cliches. I have to say that the stairs scene was pretty scary though. I'd give it a 5/10

Did you watch the Japanese version? Yeah, it isn't in chronological order, but it was better that way. I liked the Japanese one. :cat:

I watched You're Next and it was excellent.

Nope, I watched the newer one, is the original one better? I looked You're Next up on IMDb, seems interesting, maybe I'll watch it :). I Recommend watching the Conjuring, it's not that good, but I still enjoyed watching it ^_^

The American version is pretty dang awful. The Japanese version is just as incoherent chronologically, but because the acting (especially by the retired cop character) is more believable and it's more ambiguous-creepy instead of the American horror movie oh-there's-blood-scary-creature-scream-you-dolt-scream, I enjoyed it more. :cat:

The title is so corny that I promised myself I'd never watch it.

A lot of the movie reminded me of a kids' show, especially the ending. It wasn't bad perse, but I wouldn't go out and make a point of watching it. :)

Forrest Gump! I totally understand why it's so highly proclaimed ^_^ it's funny, but also sad at times. Tom Hank's acting is amazing! It's so hard to believe he's just an actor who plays a character instead of a real person :cat:
