Mario or Luigi? You Choose!

When I was a child I always liked Luigi better than Mario and I didn't know why and then Game Theory opened my eyes. Well I don't hate mario and Game Theory didn't ruin my childhood but Luigi deserves more respect from his brother. Also Luigi is funnier, has emotions, and the death stare. Mario has money........ Yeah

Actually I like them both. However if I had to choose, I would say Luigi. I feel that Luigi has more character and a better role to play than Mario has. Somehow Luigi also seems to be a bit funny in a few games. In Super Mario 64, he could do stuff like temporarily walk on water, which made me like that green guy

He's funny, has personality, owns a MANSION (he don't need no mainstream castles) and single handedly took on an army of boos, twice. In Mario&Luigi games I always give him the stat boosts and best equipment because.. you know, luigi is secretly the best in the duo. Always having to pull the team..

There's only one thing better than normal luigi though.. and that's the amazing alter ego, Mr. L! Not to toot my own horn. I hope he- I mean I come back in another game some time, albeit unlikely. It'd be a nice surprise and pretty darn cool.

Waluigi! I know this is cheating, but he is kind of Luigi. Him and Luigi are definitely my favourite of the four plumbers. Heck, I even prefer Wario to Mario. Mario is just not my sort of character. Which is weird, cause Mario games are probably my favourite video games. Funny how that works.

Some of my favourite games are Mario games, like Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Mario&Luigi: Super Star Saga.

Luigi for me is just much more likeable than Mario. Mario doesn't really have an identifiable or relatable personality.. Even Waluigi and Wario are more likeable even though they aren't the nicest people you're gonna meet.

Luigi is the best and I have lots of reasons. Luigi is cooler, funnier, hes better. Even in smash bros hes better. If you watch game theorist on youtube you would know why I don't like Mario. Luigi has the best death stare in the whole franchise. Luigi jumps higher than Mario. Luigi is so special that he gets his own year. Even though most of the time the years went to Mario, all that dose is makes Mario's years not very special.Luigi has the best personality. Mario murders Yoshi, Toad, Baby Penguins, and his other friends. Luigi is a kind person. Mario always finds a way to humiliate Luigi. Luigi has better skills than Mario. Luigi Defeats a army of boos to save Mario, not once but twice, Luigi saves Mario from King Boo twice. Luigi also has his alter ego ( Mr. L ) and Mario has no alter ego. Luigi also has a good evolution. He went from a alternative suit of Mario to his own character and a personality of his own. Thats why I go with Luigi, also I like him better.

Never would have guessed you preferred Luigi, Luigi31. You're a little... harsh on Mario though aren't ya? I mean, sure he's a Yoshi, Toad, Penguin murderer, but so is Luigi really, as he was in all those games too. (If you include Super Mario 64 DS for the third one). He does save Mario from King Boo twice, however Mario also saved Luigi twice didn't he? Once in SM64DS and in Galaxy I think. It might not have been King Boo in Galaxy, but he definitely saved Luigi from some haunted place. Also Mario had a pretty decent evolution too, he want from being a gorilla tormentor to a heroic plumber.

I understand it for luigi but if luigi got replaced by mario, people will say stuff like this for mario.

Its clearly luigi, i think he matches me the most. also he is better in super smash brothers and one of the first characters i drove with in mario kart wii, over all he is taller and thiner than mario so he can jump way higher

I don't have a brother or sister or many close friends, so mario has always been the one that I have played as since day 1. dont get me wrong, i do really like luigi, i like how you can play as him in super mario galaxy. I also like how hi can jump higher than mario. I just preferr mario though

Well, I prefer luigi over mario due to actually seeming to have a deep personality unlike his i got as usual persona brother. Mainly this is due to Luigi's mansion, which despite only being 8 hours long was one of the best games i have ever played and luigi is scared the whole game but keeps trucking on to save his older brother, to the point where when he finally saves his brother a single tear runs down his cheek, a single man tear(god i love supernatural). Besides, Luigi always seems to be underrated by nintendo, so that makes me love him even more.

Between Mario and Luigi, I'll have to choose Luigi. Luigi always has his own vibe. He’s nervous, but determined. He’s timid, but energized. Luigi’s unique appeal even brings out Mario’s inner self as well, as seen in Luigi’s victory screen in Mario Power Tennis when Mario congratulates Luigi while stepping on his foot in begrudging defeat. Luigi is a very expressive character and it’s when he’s on stage that the other characters tend to be more expressive themselves. He has a contagious sense of personality that always seems to stand out amongst Mario’s blind heroism or Peach’s diva-damsel persona.
