This is Megaman with different name because they have legal obligations to not use the same name but they will develop a similar gameplay style, visuals and stuff + new features, abilities.
Looks pretty awesome.

I'm looking forward to it only if it comes to PSN.

I'm sure it will make its way to both, PSN and Xbox Live. I just hope it comes out for Nintendo 3DS you know, that'll be awesome.

It looks amazing. I hope it gets a Steam release and my computer can run it. I'm a tad upset at the fact that it is using Kickstarter for support though. I don't think it's fair for developers to use Kickstarter to meet their goals, even if it has resulted in the rise of indie games. You can disagree with me and I understand why, but I do think so.

I agree with you. I mean it's ok for beginner devs to use Kickstarter/IndieGogo for their projects but seasoned devs like the folks behind Megaman are big shots, they should at least spare Kickstarter and get their money from investors and stuff. However, it's still a great game and I don't care what methods they choose to raise money, as long as it comes out for all platforms, I'm happy with it.

I don't get why Inafune is targeting PC first. Japanese gamers tend to head to phones, handhelds, or consoles, but not often PC. I guess he wants to be a "game changer". Kickstarter seems to be an engine to gain popularity via media attention, by the way. Plus, they don't need to give money to investors. They'd probably be better off paying for this on their own than going venture.

PCs (except Intel integrated users) should be able to run this with no problem, I think.

Well, there is a lot of visual novels and manga games for PC, so there is a reason. But, yes, you had a big point there.

Thats pretty bias, basically unless they cater towards you specifically you won't even give them the time of day?

I'm pretty sure Inafune is broke as he most likely sunk all his money into his company. Besides if the investors is the gamers who buy the game, I'm sure the game makers can make a better game as the business type investors would be harping on them to get their money back quickly.

I think that this is probably why Capcom has mostly sent Megaman to the dustbin. They knew about Inafune making Mighty No. 9.

That isn't a smart move from Capcom.
Also, if that is true, why is Megaman on SSB4?

There was one fanproject that was kinda supported by Capcom and one mobile game. Since Inafune stopped working on Megaman, the SSB4 character was essentially the most significant thing.

The fan game is Megaman X Street Fighter, right?

That was a free game developed by Capcom themselves, for the fans.
Edit: Actually, to clarify, it was developed by a fan with support from Capcom. OK, now I feel stupid.

Don't worry. If you made a mistake, that means you're a human.
