I don't need to be carried :p thats's why i want to play solo first but at the same time I'd like to try a bit of online play too...

G1 and i use a lot of weapons but i like the charged blade and switch axe the most.

Cool! I never used CB & SA until I tried challenge quests &, while powerful, they're kinda slow & awkward feeling...
Its best attribute is its sword transformation ability!
That's when it just completely destroys monsters!
The charge blade has its moments too; all those flashing lights &
Immense power behind each strike!
That being said, I'd still choose insect glaive over either one of those weapons any day! :)

I tried being good with the insect glaive (one of the reasons i bought MH4U) and i was rewarded with moderate success,i'll wait till g3 to actually make a good insect glaive and the charge blade's super and ultra strikes are so satisfying to pull off that i love everything about them in general.

I never got to Abyssal Lagiacrus in MH3U because i only got it about 2 weeks before MH4U came out. Also, I only got to HR6 IN 3U. Ive also been playing since the 1st game in the Monster Hunter series. Any thoughts on MHX? o_O

Welp. Here are MY thoughts:
Landscape: Seems to get better in every game; hope they add new locales!
Villages: How can they fit all of them into 1 game?? (Just like in 4u?) O0O
Poogie: Unfortunately, llamas are more... -insert ur word choice- ?
Monsters: That new T-rex looking brute wyvern- just epic!! All the offensive capabilities with that awesome sword-like tail!
(Could it be Jho's replacement? o_O)
Then, we have new swift type! (A second seregios? o0o) Looks like we're gonna be spamming traps for this 1...
& Last, but CERTAINLY NOT least, we have: The brand new leviathan! Will our strategies for Najarala work against this slithery serpent? I wonder... >.>
Weapons (You didnt think I'd leave THIS part out, did'ya? No? Good. xD)
(In this part, Im just gonna put the top 3 most devastating looking combo weps; unfortunately, this doesnt include my beloved glaive... :c)
Hammer: Now, we all know how strong the hammer is from previous games, but this new skill it has... Just demolishes ANYTHING in its wake!
Charge Blade: Switching into the charged form of this weapon, + its incredibly devastating power, added on to its awesome power-up, will leave all monsters scattered before you! & Finally!! We have...
Duals: Ok, this is that part where you probably get confused and ask: "Wait. Didnt he just say: '3 most devastating looking combo weps'? Yup! Good ears! lol
Duals are the most awesome combo weapons & its all thanks to 1 extremely handy ability- Demonization mode.
This, coupled with its new skill powers in MHX, will make these deadly duals a top wep for sure!
(Comment any thoughts on this, pls? Honesty doesnt kill... lol) :D

Wait. . Poogies are being relaced?!? :nailbiting::eek: I just cant see a Llama wearing costumes like the poogie does.
As far as the landscape and locale for each game it gets more expansive if you have not noticed. As they add different types of monsters new landscaps emerge as well as monsters from those and other landscapes. The way that the monsters are mapped out and planed out seem as if the utmost care and thought are put into each monster down to their abilities wihin their habitat.
I think they did a real splendid job of adding villages and the potential to add travel to other monster hunter generations is there. . But just not on the 3ds because the game cards can only hold a certian amount of data. With that being said, they could have a monster hunter game tuat is new but incorporatess an older village from older generation games.
Thoughts anyone?
