This all happened so sudden for me.I arrived from uncle's house at home, and I was just going to take a bath when I checked two profile posts here, and I wasn't believing it.Then I've wanted to know if it was true or not on Nintendo Life, and yes, sadly for my expectations,Satoru Iwata passed away at the age of 55.It was chocking to see such a great leader and fun person go away without any reports if he was in a bad state or anything like that.Iwata was a remarkable person, both in and out as a leader for Nintendo, with his fun attitude, determined leadership, and caring personality. If it wasn't for him,we woudn't have experienced such amazing and entertaing journeys into the wonders of franchises he took care of,like The Legend of Zelda,Kirby,Mario, and so on.He made the Nintendo Directs entertaining as well, and I always comprehended with him whenever he spoke "Please understand",but not now, because I'm just generally confused.Until then,I will always be grateful for the memorable journeys you gave us,as well as your recognazible trajectory as one of the biggest CEOs in the whole industry.

In his homages,I made this picture to his honor. :artist:

They should do what they did with Fast and Furious and digitally recreate Iwata for future Nintendo Direct's. The digital Iwata can speak directly to us, which would be fitting for, say, the DIGITAL event. Who's with me! :p

R.I.P. (although I believe in a Hell, andI don't think he was a Christian, but... I don't want to get into a debate)

Ever the competition for Nintendo sent their condolences for Iwata's family. The president of Playstation and Phil Spencer said great things about Iwata. Platinum Games; Capcom; Konami; Ubisoft; EA; Namco; and probably also SEGA paid respect to Iwata.

I think it's more in his honour to not try to replace him with a digital, scripted equivalent :panda:

Yeah, I thought it was beautiful.

When i think about what Iwata did in my childhood. It's non-existent. I never played his games, nor i did agree with some of his decisions that he made for nintendo. But, he was different. He understood us. our lives as gamers, why we played everyday, why we enjoyed games. He was a man that respected any gamers. It's sad to see him go. I couldn't believe it. He was alive just during e3. No one could have seen him dying. The puppet show was hilarious, and i want to go back to a time when he was with us. Rest in peace, iwata. Condolences to your family. Game on!

Rest in peace Mr.Iwata, you have done amazing things in your life but it was just your time to go and Nintendo and it's fans will dearly miss you much like I do. Your directs were actually enjoyable and entertaining and will always be remembered and so will all of your hard work and games that you have put thought and work into and we all will always be grateful for it.

Iwata - "I've never once been embarrassed that children have supported Nintendo. I'm proud of it. That's because children judge products based on instinct. Everyone wants to appeal to people's instincts, but it's not easy. That doesn't mean we're making products just for children. We believe that there's interactive entertainment that people in their 60s, 70s and 80s can enjoy, so we're doing various things." Rest in peace, mr. iwata. You were a great leader of nintendo, I guess you had to have a game over...

I remember first learning about his death on this site. I remember later that day seeing his death announced on the news and I felt horrible. I mean we don't usually think about the masterminds behind the games and the systems we play. I remember playing all Nintendo games and being excited to see new games.

I have never met Mr.Iwata but I do miss him. Rest in Peace Mr.Iwata.

I praise Iwata to this day since his death last summer. He is always in my heart and I will never forget that because even though he is dead he is alive in every Nintendo gamers heart.
