No small New 3DS for North America

yea it just took a bit cuz it just came out. it was actually available a bit earilier if you called i think, but its on the actual site now. mine should be coming tomorrow, but i don't have the key to the mailbox so unless it wont fit and they put it inbetween my wooden door and plexiglass door, i won't actually have access to it until saturday around 5:30pm =/ otherwise i might get it on thursday, but my aunt is in the area and wanted to get dinner with me and my brothers.

I want the new 3ds but i can't afford the Large and it has no Custom Plates and i like the portability of the small one and i like the amiibo function of the new 3ds and because of nintendo i can't have it,can someone tell me why nintendo release the small new 3ds?(but i still love nintendo!!!)

They did explain why they didn't release it here and it was for "confusion reasons".

To me, it simply sounded like Nintendo thought we were stupid here...

But anyway, I got the New 3DS XL, sure it's cool the plates and all but... oh well, maybe something else will be made for the XL to solve that?
