well i'm sorry to say that more experienced artists will have more luck with this. but the winner is whoever's picture i like best. so if it isn't particuarly detailed, but is very charming, it may still have a chance. and pretty much anything is allowed. haven't actually decided if i want people to post them here or pm me their results though. maybe pms so i can reveal everyone's entries together idk.

This is cool, I would like to enter. I got a question though, does it have to be draw digital art? Cause I never draw digitally, I always draw on paper and I'm good drawing by hand. And what is it that we have to draw?

everything you asked is in the first post. but to save you the trouble, i'll say it again: any media is accepted and complete artistic freedom is granted. you're trying to draw my sprite on the first page and the winner is whoever's picture i like best. and i know i tend to rant a lot (well you don't yet lol) but you really shouldn't do a "tl;dr" for contests. just sayin

and also spread the word! if enough people enter i'll raise the prize to a $20 eshop card or even to 1st 2nd and 3rd prize winners!

With my PC overheating and fan not working at all.... my art project has come to a sudden halt and just in case something happens to my PC I will put my last thing I was trying to work on into this contest,

It may not be great I did have fun making what I could, my art program's smudging blending tools need to much processor lol .. Hope its a ok entry and my ideas and phases are under this picture..

Yea I know I had fun I tried and even if it doesnt win me anything I stayed with it even during issues so I am proud of at least that lol and proud I had the guts to even post it O.O

well tbh i do kinda like the blending with the yellows and oranges. has nothing to do with my guy though.

My entry is probably going to be grey because I prefer pencil and paper over digital and colouring a detailed drawing afterwards is a lot of work.

i'm just hoping people that actually have the time do take this contest seriously enough to put in the effort to actually win. i didn't charge an admission fee because i was hoping a bunch of pictures of my guy would be worth it in the first place.

.... I know I did take my time O.O alot of time mine may look bad but that was hard just doing that thats stuff Im just learning ... Though was not expecting it needed to be expert good and thought it was free form ... but hey I had fun..

sorry if i'm sounding rude but lack of experience doesn't mean lack of skill. just need to learn your own style. i cant draw intentionally to save my life, but i turned that sprite into a puzzle and made something new out of it (like rippy-bits in spongebob lol) that huge cube on his side is my attempt to make a card case xD even my rls are just lines that i peice together to make something out of. i probably couldn't even find those tools you used ^^;
