Happy Poem in Your Pocket day everyone! :D
As a little celebration for poem in your pocket day I'm going to have a little poetry contest!
Here are the rules:

Entry Fee:
Nothing :D

Allowed Poems:
All types of poems are allowed, but certain themes are not. Do not use any poem found on the internet. IT MUST BE YOUR ORIGINAL WORK! Also make sure all poems are appropriate. To see if it is ask yourself "If I brought this to my school as an assignment, would I get yelled at? If you are still not sure simply pm me your poem before posting it for my approval. Other than that your poem can be about whatever you would like!

Contest Deadline:
Entries will no longer be accepted on 5/8/15 at 12:00 a.m. EST and the winners should be announce sometime between 5/8/15 and 5/10/15.

Judging:
You will be judged 99% on creativity and 1% on personal preference (If I have two poems tied)

Prizes:
1st place- 100 pc
2nd place- 50 pc
3rd place- 25 pc
Consolation Prize
(all poets who
entered but didn't
win) - 5 pc

Hmmm.... maybe...I dunno if English poem have any format or rules to follow so maybe ill use Thailand's poetry rules for the default :p

here is a short poem.

Mario run, Mario fly, Mario go and touch the sky.♪♪♪

Kirby eats, Kirby floats, Kirby loves every coat.♪♪♪

Pokemon friends, Pokemon stay, Pokemon love to laugh and play.♪♪♪

Yoshi's green, Yoshi's fun, he always loves to eat and run.♪♪♪

Link is small, and he's big, but he never owned a single wig.♪♪♪

Bowser is huge, Bowser's not lean, Bowser is really mean. O:<

Villager fish, Villager catch, Villager go fetch!!!♪♪♪

This is one I title I hope I don't trip.


I hope I don’t trip

‘Cause I might break my hip

Which would be very bad

And I wouldn’t be glad

It’s a 90ft fall

I could break through a wall

Which would be easy to do

‘Cause I’m faster than you

Oh no I just tripped

And now I just flipped

Crash ow ow ow

Ow ow ow ow ow ow

I didn’t survive

And I cannot revive

That’s a terrible thing

I turned this in a while ago for my English class simply titled "Friends"


'Friends come and go

though theres some you can’t ignore

let your friendships grow

just don’t shut the door


They make you happy when you’re sad

always so chaff

always making you glad

and making you laugh


So don’t be alone

and find a friend

to call your own

but don’t let your friendship end.'

so exciting amirite
