FINALLY, the long waited remakes of Generation 3 Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire has been announced today, I am so excited, watch the video below to see the details :love:

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are a fresh take on Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, which launched in 2003 and were fan-favourite hits on the Game Boy Advance system,” the announcement reads. “The new titles promise to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world.”

Now the wait for November, 2014 begins!!​

I guess, I still can't get over the fact that this is really happening! There Mega-Evolution looks amazing.

I saw it too! I wonder if the graphics are going to be the same as X and Y :D. I hope the battles will, for the overworld I'm not sure.
 
This is fantastic news. I can't wait to play. ^^

I don't see why the graphics would be any different to X/Y. I'll be disappointed if they aren't.

Well, since the time when people wanted a gen 3 remake, they finally got it ! :p Do you know what that means? The next meme will be: Sinnoh Confirmed :rotfl:!

I also hope that I won't have to use the PokéBank to get my Kalos Pokés into these games when they'll come out. Now, I'll finally get a chance to try a Gen 3 game !

(PS: Calm down, Nintendo... My wallet isn't ready... :oops:)

I think the're going to add some new features to the old Generation 3 Map, and I think it will have graphics like X and Y.

A lot of people wanted this for the longest while, I can't recall how many petitions have been made just for this. Super Smash Bros. and Pokemon Omega Ruby, are surely what I'm gonna get! :woot:

I wonder if there will be compatibility with X/Y. Aaaaand, I'll have to make the toughest choice of my life yet another time, I don't know which one to get :oops:...

Yes, I'm also in deep decision, it's been the same way with Pokemon X/Y, I need to see the exclusives of each version first to make a proper decision.

Only problem with that is these are drastically different from the originals.

But I think the changes that will be made, would be for the best, even though I rather an original, anything with Pokemon X/Y graphics is gonna be totally amazing (for me).

Choosing a version was always easy for me, I always choose the one closes to Red. My Favorite color has always been Red, that is why when I get Pokemon X/Y I am choosing Y.

  • It will be on 3D, with a limited 3D effect.
  • The region isn’t the same, but a remake.
  • The story is new, or at least, longer.
  • They will have a full localization like the original game.
  • You will be able to play with the 723 pokémons.
  • It will be compatible with Pokémon Bank.
  • It has online.

Yup, I'm expecting it to be a new story -- NOT a remake. With a completely reimagined Hoenn.

Anyways, I think they made it too sooner.

And this also confirms something:
There won't be a Z version of Pokémon X/Y, but a Beta Esmerald for sure.

Eh, Beta Emerald? No, they never remake the third game. I would like if they started remaking them with Yellow, though.

This doesn't confirm there won't be a Z.

Well, I mean they're working on new games...
Pokke Fighters for Wii U is an example.

Pokken Fighters will probably be made by a different developer, like most Pokemon spinoffs, though.
