i took froakie gets real awesome evolutions
like greninja

the one thing I don't particularly like about it though is that when it becomes a Greninja the Base Stats have a bit more emphasis in Special Attack than in Physical Attack, when Greninja's staple moves are physical attacks
A Special Attacking Greninja also kicks serious butt! Just give it Scald/Surf/Hydro Pump, Dark Pulse, Ice Beam and Toxic Spikes/Extrasensory/or just U-Turn to get out of tough situations.

It can learn DARK PULSE? :O I did not know that. Yup Special Attack Greninja OP. Although it'd probably be a good idea to place Water Shiruken somehow so you could get that priority move

Water Shuriken is good but not good enough to put on a Special Attacking Greninja, I'd rather give it Toxic Spikes for a deadly hazard and poison typing.

Well, you never know it could be helpful in some cases. Unless you have a nature like Modest Nature, it could be beneficial to have a priority move equipped just in case (although Hydro Pump would be the go-to move)

Pikachu isn't available as a starter, but, you can get Fennekin as a Fire-Type Starter.

Uhhhh not really? It CAN be a girl but it doesn't have to be a girl (male Fennekins exist too...). Also, Fire Rage is not a move that's been introduced in Pokemon....

Fire Rage, as said earlier by naagza, doesn't exist. But I'll mostly think that this pokemon has the same starting attacks than previous-gens fire starters.

Yeah, it knows Scratch and Tail Whip, just like Charmander :p However, I do think that the Fennekin family has some kind of signature move, as Chesnaught has Spiky Shield and Greninja has Water Shiruken

Yes, in Pokemon, Generations have always been like that. Except that we didn't got Spiky Shield and Water Shuriken in the previous gens.

Well, we did get something similar in Gen 3 for Swampert and Sceptile (Muddy Water and Leaf Blade, respectively). Perhaps other pokemon will get Spiky Shield and Water Shuriken in future gens, like they did with the Gen 3 signature moves

Get Chespin as a starter, then for your second starter get squirtle and blaziken from the pokemon distribution (But you have to connect to the internet to get it) Chespin is amazing.

Or there's another way to get 3 elementals starters :
1 - > Pick a starter that you like.
| - 2 - > Take a 1st Gen Starter who has got another type.
| - - 3 - > When you can, import your starter (who is type missing from your team) from a DS copy of Pokemon | - - - - > (D/P/SS/HG -> B2, then transfer to X/Y.)
4 - > Enjoy.

Conclusion: Exactly the same, but only with the Ni-Fi (3DS/DS connections in local, no Internet).

Another way is to just use the Friend Safari and get the remaining Kanto and Kalos starters that you didn't choose. Although it's the mid-evolutions it's about the same thing and you can just Ditto breed to get the starter.

Except that in my trick, you don't need a 2nd 3DS and 2nd Copy of X/Y !
You would just need a 3DS, a DS(Fat/Lite/i(XL)) + the games.

And I forgot about Ditto.

Well, that's true, but if you have friends who have the game (or people with the pokemon that are willing to exchange friend codes with you) my thing could be more efficient

Yes, but I prefer using this trick because:

1- People in France never goes to someone else's house with their 3DS, and even more with Pokemon,
2- They are a few people who have the game + the system (As they focus more on consoles like XB1/PS4 and WiiU).
