Should Mario Kart 7 have DLC? If so, what kind of DLC would you like to see?

I would like DLC for Mario Kart 7. It would be awesome to see DLC characters, cups, items, and new battle courses. There could also be special DLC packs, that bring a new character, a new cup, and a new item, for just five dollars each pack!

So, what do you guys think?
 
New courses would be awesome.
Characters would probably be complicated, but they could probably include new karts.
 
New tracks. Any other form of DLC is just milking to me.

It wouldn't be milking it you got new tracks, new mini-games and new karts in the same DLC.
 
It would be really awesome to have DLC, but since the game has been released for a very long time, I'm not sure if it'd be a great idea by now. =/
I'd love some new tracks and bonus kart pieces as stated previously.

I wouldn't mind a Mario Kart DLC. I'd probably buy it, assuming it had new tracks in it. New karts and characters would be cool too but I'd really like to see some new tracks. It would be nice to be able to have access to some new tracks without having to wait however may years until the next game is made.

I would like to see Mario Kart 7 have DLC, I would love to see more Kart remakes and Characters maybe some new Tracks, Yeah I agree I would be interesting and more fun if it had DLC.

Mario Kart 7 having DLC is good as you could download new characters , power ups from the mystery boxes new upgrades for your kart and mostly new tracks !

I am a little confused at how a dlc with new items or track will go online !
the game is multiplayer focused what will happen if a player with a dlc have a certain item and another player does not have it ? it wouldn't be fair I guess .

that's a great Idea. the games could work amazingly together and it could boost mario kart 8 sales a lot and revive sales for 7 !

I don't think DLC is such a great idea in general and it's only good for a couple games. I suppose Mario Kart 7 could do it, but then there's the issue of how would it work if you were to do wifi races where there are some without the DLC

Hmmm... I don't think that I'm a great fan of DLC. I mean, you already payed like 40-50 bucks for a game, and then you don't even get the full game. I loved Fire Emblem: Awakening, but after I purchased it all my money was gone. Of course I would like to get some DLC, but it is also a bit troubling with my eShop account and adding funds sometimes...

the way FE: Awakening did the DLC was smart because it made some DLC chapters basically "cheating chapters" aka infinite legendary weapons and infinite gold

I didn't really miss them, actually. It wasn't an easy game, but it was neither hard.

you didn't miss them? what? Sorry, I'm a bit confused what you mean by that. But yeah, the game doesn't get hard until you go into Lunatic or Lunatic+ difficulty

Yeah, I meant that I didn't really needed them :p The next time that I'm going to play the game, I will choose a higher difficulty level.
