PacMan only has ONE rolling move...that's the only thing he'd be sharing with Sonic...and JigglyPuff and Yoshi....so no he wouldn't most likely have moves similar to Sonic.

Mostly Pacman would have the same ability as Kirby , but I wouldn't think that Nintendo would put 2 characters with similar abilities to each other characters in the game , that would make it boring.

Pacman wouldn't have the same ability as Kirby, that'd basically be changing the character entirely. Kirby steals powers from the opponents he sucks up, while Pacman doesn't do anything like that.

PacMan Chomps people....Kirby sucks up people to steal their powers...PacMan has bouncing, rolling, and tons of powers from his games he could use in Smash Bros. None of them make him Similar to Kirby

honestly, I'm glad that I'm not the only who understands this and isn't making these weird comparisons lol

But yeah, Pacman chomping people could be a possibility as a final smash (where everyone on the screen starts blinking blue and pacman has to rush into everyone to SMAAAAASH them off the screen)

Yeah, I think Lucina as an alternate costume for Marth would make sense. Especially since in FE: Awakening they literally have the same animations for attacking with swords


I really don't see how? Pacman isn't exactly a speed character like Sonic.

He had some Pacman World game that I played on gamecube. He jumped and rolled similar to sonic.

They already do. Fox/Falco/Wolf. Mario/Luigi. Captain Falcon/Ganondorf. etc/etc.

Wii Fit Trainer has two entirely different appearances, but they're just costumes. Hopefully the same will be added for Marth and many other characters.

Wait? So it is not longer just rumours because of a posted photo? Has this already been confirmed? I am sorry, I live under a rock and I just decided to venture out today so I am not sure.

If so I hope the villager will have a girl counterpart and Daisy swap for Peach has a lot of more defining details. :3

Yeah, I think it's been confirmed for a while, I haven't seen the source myself but a lot of people on the forum and some other people I know have said it.

I wouldn't expect a girl counterpart of the Villager, but Daisy as an alternate coloration of Peach has been a thing for a while lol

Well people saying things because they heard other people saying it doesn't make it true, admittedly the explanation for the picture itself seems very plausible but I really couldn't find a proving source. The image was from October so given the amount of months I guess that if itw as proven it never really surprised anyone enough to make the headlines spread like virus.

Also, I know Daisy as the alternate has been going, but Male WiiFit trainer is more than a mere color swap, which Peach alternate colours are, so I hope that for this year we can actually see more changes like her shorter hair, for example.

The Villager was unexpected as he is mostly a customized avatar more so than a character by himself. So it really doesn't sound that out of the possibilities that just like the wiiFit trainer they release a default-girl model as an alternate costume.

Of course all the speculation I am doing based on that image and apparent confirmation of the alternative colours.

yes, and the speculation does have some logic to it. However, I don't think that character customization will go to a *huge* extent because there'd likely be space limitations and all.
