I personally don't believe in banned characters at all, and it annoys me when I see a few Pokemon appear on the banned list (some I agree with though)Added both of you.
The banned characters are,well,banned because @D4rkDragon did mention they are top-tiers(ZSS,Diddy Kong,Sheik and Rosalina & Luma were the ones he mentioned),and if you know how to use them wisely,they're pretty unfair in battle.Also,I dunno about the rest of you all,but I think Ike,Little Mac and Shulk are overpowered for this type of tournament.Sorry for these restrictions,but they are here to make battles fair and square.
And I don't agree with the statment of "if you use them wisely they can be overpowered" because that depends on the player. You can be skilled with everyone but you can't ban everyone.

Your banlist is awful. All characters should be legal, because none of the ones you've listed are OP. Diddy isn't as unbeatable as people say, and little mac is certainly not OP. Rosalina has been nerfed by 3ds updates, so no problem there. Sheik is very good, but not OP. ZSS is not unfair in anyway, and I'd argue that she's pretty mid-tier. Ike...where on earth did you get that idea? Same with Shulk, he's just OKAY. I do agree with mii fighter though, because the forced custom moveset makes it unpredictable. I probably come across as more rude/elitist than I want to seem, but as someone who follows the sm4sh scene, count me out of this tournament if the banlist is like this...and I play kirby

No, its fine dont worry about it! Though sonce the rules are alterted you can ban who ever you want, I was kinda just stating in general though. Plus how much PC do I owe?Alright,alright,I guess it wouldn't hurt if I deleted the entire ban list,so every character is allowed for this type of tournament,and please,forgive me.I dunno how to use every character,you know. :/

No,the ban list is actually unnecessary for this type of tournament,and it'd rather fit for a tournament with 2.0 launchrate(which coincidence or not,is happening as of now).Now,I might bring the banned character list back if the participating think it's necessary for a tournament with 0.5 of launchrate,because I really don't know if certain characters should be banned,other than the Mii Fighters and characters with customized versions characters.Also, @Nova ,the entry fee is 3PC.
Added you both,and @atomic_ian ,the ban list is currently off,so if it remains that way,you'll be eligible to play as Shulk.
Sure.Pay 3 PC,and since you're a newbie,I'll tell you to try to stay active here whenever possible,not being the "deactivate" type of user(which happened a lot here),to be totally eligible to participate,but you can still give the tournament a go.
