Yeah, i loved the direct but i think they should add diancie for support character, also i liked how greninja is a character now but delphox and chesnaught characters would be good to, i also hope i can use shiny greninja in this .-., i would like a demo to but i think it is not going to be possible is just like asking for a pokemon XY demo ;)

I think Shiny Greninja will be available as a character customization. Just like Shiny Charizard.
the fact that they admit they are doing more than the Wii U version than 3DS version proves they shouldn't have bothered with a handheld version.

At least, we'll still get a handheld Smash Bros. game with lots of features that will be enough to cause lots of tournaments here :rotfl: ! And it's not that bad that they work harder on the WiiU version, due to its poor sales; players would be disappointed to pay more to get less content. And maybe it will be the "console-seller" of 2014 ;) !
Hope that Nintendo will make limited editions (3DS/WiiU) for SSB4, it may also increase the sales, if you love that much the design of a console (just like me) !

I don't like being the person that hates on Nintendo, but this really showed their stupidity.

Do they HONESTLY believe that the majority of people are going to buy Smash Bros for 3DS then pay 60$ for it again a few months later? I can understand whyit would make sense for most people, having new stages and upgraded visuals a few months later will be great, but that's not how consumers are going to look at it. Parents are going to see this game in stores and say "oh, s/he has that on 3DS."

Also, having an exclusive game mode on 3DS is completely ridiculous. Unless Wii U has 2 exclusive game modes, that's just plain stupid.

I'm not sure the Wii U version will be released this year. Unless they made a huge mistake, it makes no sense for them to release it in "Winter 2014." Unless they're considering Winter 2014 as when it starts snowing, because winter only has 9 days in 2014.

Releasing the 3DS version first is a brilliant move. The high install base will guarantee massive sales out of the gate, and a lot of that will transfer to the WiiU once it releases because we all know it's going to be the definitive version. What better way to get someone hooked than giving them an appetizer before the main course. Also, the 3DS version of the game seems easier to create so I don't blame them for doing it in this way. To be honest
even though how hard we try to boost the Super Smash Bros. Wii U sales it's sadly not gonna work because of the 3DS' install base. I think it's a brilliant marketing tactic, because the 3DS has such a huge fanbase that people who enjoyed the game on the 3DS would for sure love the Wii U version.

No one is going to buy a Wii U for a game that they already have unless they're rich.

Excuse me princess but you think I wanted the Wii because of Brawl or Brawl because I had a Wii? I'm sure there will be people out there that will get both. Releasing at a different date helps. Maybe a sweet bundle will be made on release date.

Do you guys think it's weird that the 3DS version comes out first? They should come out at the same time, Right?
