I don't know if I misunderstood that miiverse post, but Lucario will be better if he's damaged? Aura system, according to Sakurai.
I'm glad he's back, he's one of my mains. ;)

I was kinda hoping for Zoroark to replace Lucario, but I don't mind him coming back. He was fun character to play as!

  • #183
Yeah, I'm somewhat disappointed about Lucario being confirmed for Smash Bros. Wii U. I was looking forward to a new pokemon character being introduced (or perhaps the return of Mewtwo) :/

This image is simply amazing, I can't wait to see how the stage interacts with the characters, what will be included! This exact stage, just gets me hype bout this game more than I already am:

“The Prism Tower rises above Lumiose City. Up until a few seconds ago, the fighters were brawling on top of that tower. No, really.”

It will most like play like the Delphino (excuse my spelling) plaza stage in brawl, but a better version.

T.T I can't wait.

Today's screenshot shows you a comparison of characters with and without their outline on the 3DS :

According to what I've heard, it's possible to enable the outline, make it thinner or disable it. I think I'm going to disable it when I play the game for the first time.

Personally I prefer the outlines to ensure that I'm hitting my opponent.

Woah, I think that this feature, is really good, If I'm playing in 3D I'd rather put the outline on, the game looks beautiful too, with the outline off the resolution is better too.

I doubt the outlines are an extension of the character's hit box, that's kind of a stupid design choice when you're also able to turn that off...the outlines are so the character's have more visual focus and don't blend in with anything, which can happen for some people with slightly poor eye sight.

I am extremely excited for this game, this stage seems to be amazing! I love all the details added to the building, and trees.

Month by month, the game gets more exciting, and people who said it was going to be a bad game are now being disgusted because of how much content we'll get :D ! Seriously, for a 3DS game, it has impressive graphics, and looks as fun as the last SSB (which I enjoyed really much). Let's hope that Nintendo keep giving infos ;) !

In here we can talk about the latest screenshots for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game.

Latest image (the image updates itself) :

What are your thoughts?
Wow! Those are some nice graphics! BTW, how do you make the image update itself? I doubt that you change the pic every time there is a new screenshot.

So if you use the Thunder cloud while your foes are on an upper platform your OHKO them ?
sounds overpowered but I think Pikachu needed it .

I think Marc just used the Link to the Image from the smash bros. official site and since the image there changes without changing its link code the same think happens here.

Pikachu's Thunder may be stronger but Bowser probably already took some damage and Pikachu threw Bowser and then Up-smashed when he was sent down. It appears that the move forces opponents downward which I think is a change in the move. It can be avoided however, which is what he said on Miiverse.

I agree, this will look phenomenal on the 3DS. I can't wait, each day, I try to guess the release date of this game! I hope they do a Nintendo Direct though, I'm urging for a new character Chrom!

I'm not totally sure, but as what I have read today on a website today, Nintendo will do a Nintendo Direct in some time, and Super Smash Bros. For 3DS/WiiU will cover a good part of the Direct. Can't wait for it to know what will be new !

  • #199
Hopefully this Nintendo Direct doesn't announce the game being delayed to 2015...

  • #200
Seems like the direct will be broadcasted at 0:00 tonight (GMT +1: French Time), Nintendo doesn't really like people who live in the GMT +1 to +3 zones...
I'll count on you to tell everything that Nintendo will announce  !
