Yeah, I mean he's the reason Kid Icarus returned with epicness 25 years after the original one....I'm really looking forward to seeing the pure geniusness continue with SSB4

Yeah, I wanted a story of something substantial like Subspace Emissary. It makes me more connected with the character and I am always interested to see how those characters interact with each other, not only in battle but through adventure mode.

Yeah, well that's why I liked Subspace Emissary, the cut-scenes were on point, I have a feeling that they would at least do the character introduction (since the adventure mode does not have cut scenes)

They'll probably have a character introduction before battling. How else do they start the battles with the 3 2 1 countdown? :p It's been a thing since the series began

I don't think he looks that weird; maybe it's just how the screenshot was taken. On a side note, I love how there's a Dark Train in this stage haha

The weird thing is Toon Link is chasing a Dark Train despite the fact touching those from any angles is instant gameover. Suicidal Tendencies anyone?

Since I only have a 3DS I doubt I'll ever get to play this stage besides with friends. Who knows maybe they'll be gracious and let us see it on 3DS as well.

This pic says:
- Wonderful stages
- Horrible characters

Anyways, she's confirmed for the 3DS version thanks to this pic.
Also about Final Smash in the portable version.

PS: That is a New Super Mario Bros 2 stage right?

The characters in Both versions are going to be the same, they said the only real difference besides the graphics are going to be the stages.
EDIT: Nevermind you meant the looks of the characters in that pic.

that isn't Toon Link and you could probably stand on the train as a part of the stage....but lol that's a good reference you made there haha

I meant the Toon Link driving the Spirit Train, I meant that he was chasing a Dark Train in the Spirit Train which would cause a crash.

Actually, it's more like "I'm sorry, did you just say Sonic the Hedgehog is playable?" Toon Link's clueless look is priceless.

Ahh, I need to play Kid Icarus: Uprising, because this stage looks awesome, and the graphics are breath taking, I am so jelling you Wii U owners who's getting this game in gorgeous HD, I'm amazed! I also wanted to revive this thread since this was solely bout the Screen-Shots, and Mr. Sakurai has been giving a lot of awesome screen shots lately!

Wait, they're putting a Kid Icarus: Uprising stage in the Wii U version? Doesn't that kinda contradict the whole handheld stages for 3DS and console stages for Wii U thing? In any case, I agree; it really looks amazing.

I know right, now thinking bout it, baffles me, it really does lose the whole Wii U/ 3DS stage exclusive, oh well, I guess Mr. Sakurai knows what he's doing.

Wii U Kid Icarus game confirmed, then.
Not likely the case, but we still have to remember Kid Icarus was a NES game. That stage doesn't scream "Kid Icarus: Uprising" to me.
I wonder if this screenshot hurts the Palutena "leak". It's been 3 recent screenshots where something KI-related has been shown.

OMGEE, he's in :( I wanted Blaziken or Mewtwo, but it seems people play with him, so I'm happy for them, I wish they improve his Smash now then :)
