What do you do you want to learn and do in life/ your career?

Okay, so I've narrowed down my options to:

- Something in Business (most likely), as it sounds like good money and I'm going to be taking Business this year and will most likely continue unless I believe I can do something in gaming.
- Web Designer, as I'm somewhat good at IT and a lot of my IT course so far has been web design and I'd say I'm quite good at it.
- Game Developer, been a long time dream of mine and I'm passionate about them, dreaming of one day being affiliated or even working for The Big N.
- Game Tester, probably as a way to get myself into the business and not only is my level of English quite good but once again, I'm passionate about games.
- TV writer (least likely), as I love good TV and have so many ideas for good superhero TV shows and as I previously mentioned, my level of English is great and I could find myself getting lost in a universe I'm developing for a TV show. Of course, I'd find it hard not to borrow ideas from other great shows I love xD

Huh, Video Game Programmers seem to be popular around here O:

I do know stuff about Anatomy but even if I did learn everything, I would end up failing because the pressure is too great and my concentration would break, although you do go throug many concentration tests to be a Doc...

I do know some code, and I understand it, but programing games doesn't feel like what I wanna do D:

I feel like having independent-ish jobs like CEO or business manager has high pay, but I feel like working by yourself and occasionlly with others isn't the best, because when you work with others it makes time fly by and even have "fun" or be satisfied by your job. Something like an Engineer fits this because you work together on projects a lot and make cool stuff!

I want to be a novel (or visual novel) writer. And continuing what I've been doing here as a game reviewer :cat:

One side a fiction writer, other side a non-fiction one. I hope I could write something that inspires children and teenagers. It would be a hard work, though.

You mean the secondary branch of the USAF? :p
*fills all USAF aircraft with Maple Syrup instead of Jet fuel*
*punches Raptor*

aaaand the fact that if someone shouts commands at me I'm much more likely to shout back than to obey
.
LOL
You made me actually laugh out loud at that point
You'd be in a world of trouble if you actually did that, though :p

I've dreamt of being a pharmacist. To study different medicinal drugs and prescriptions. Its a good paying job, and I plan on doing it for ten years. My true dream is to write. I want to become a mangaka. I have been making comics ever since 4th grade and I guess, I never knew till recently, that's what I want to do with my life. To make stories and show them for the world to see. I actually have original characters (not for RPs or fan characters) I've made since I was ten. They were originally fan characters but over time, it grew into an original thing. I think I'll make a future thread about this story I've kept for so long.

Splendid, another possible candidate for Team Engineering in the form of Chopper!

Don’t worry; engineering is just a broad term that involves using creativity and teamwork to solve a variety of problems. However, the types of problems you will want to solve will fall under several disciplines and sub-disciplines of engineering. I love referring others to this video that perfectly depicts the goals of an engineer:

The four main disciplines of engineering include chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. From there, numerous sub-disciplines of engineering are formed from these four categories, including abstract fields such as molecular engineering, geotechnical engineering, optical engineering, and thermal engineering. View these sub-disciplines as in-depth specializations of the four main types.

Moreover, this doesn’t stop here. If you choose to combine aspects of the four main disciplines of engineering rather than specializing in one, you create even more branches of engineering called "engineering interdisciplinary subjects." Some of these include aerospace engineering, agricultural engineering, and biological engineering.

So overall, engineering requires team effort as well as an avid mind in order to successfully formulate a solution for any given dilemma.

PS: Never let a scientist undermine your abilities; they need us for monetizing their research by giving it proper application in the real world.

But remember that Aerospace is the best one ;P

I'm intrigued in entering Wild-Life photography. Goin on expeditions into different countries sounds like a blast. Go into the Amazon for a month and take pictures, that's sounds awesome!
I love traveling, I love seeing other countries, I love wild-Life, I love photography. Mix it all together = a fun job for meh!

I really just wanna be smart. I study a lot in all subjects, and I want to earn the title of a Scholar.

Do it! Just start writing and rewriting, stories grow over months, not in a day. Just get going already and i'm looking forward to reading it! :D

Yeah... Some point in the past my uncle joined the army (it was still obligatory back then) so I heard some stories about what happens when you're a smartass. (Once he had to carry some pretty heavy weaponry and he didn't feel like it, so he shot in the air. They got really mad but he never had to carry the weaponry anymore XD)

I just want to point out that rainforests are full of mosquitoes and leeches... (And those leeches are monstrous, I still got scar tissue from one around my ankle) Other than that, they're also extra-oridnarily beautiful and it smells great too. It's like a different planet.

No need to point it out, I know.

Though mostly I've been thinking of pursuing as a medical doctor, I've always wanted to develop a software and other computer programming related business. Being a pianist would probably be my second career since I really enjoy doing it as well as other theoretical topics in music :3

You know, I'd also love to write books. If I were in photography, then retired, my status may give me a good push to be able to publish books. As, the photography I am interested in I will meet many people, possibly a publisher ;3 But, it's just a hope, lol. Also, if I'm a genius Scholar . . . That'll help, too, xD.

At first I just wanted to do something that involves programming, but now I'm studying at university to be a Electronics Engineer and Programmer. I really love it and I'm just going with that! It pays good, has great potential and even allows you to be a freelancer at it! After I graduate I'm almost certainly going to the US and probably even try to get a post-graduate degree!

There are so many jobs I would enjoy doing and aspire too. But, I cant pick one. This does stress me out because at the end of the school year, I have to pick my classes for GCESEs. Meaning I have to think more deeply about my future. I would like to be a Great Woman in STEM. Because I'm awesome and love those lessons.

I'm probably going to study programming, network administration, and security pentesting (Hacking)
Most people want to go into IT, but most dont go through with it
