Which Monster Hunter game should I start with?

I don't know if you still need help with this, as quite a few people have voiced their opinions already, but I'd say Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate or 4 would be a nice place to start. For financial reasons, I'd say start with 3U. You could get it for as low as $7 on 3ds some places.

I think he means on the e shop rather than go and buying the game in stores plus I don't think that a game would sell so low (a MHU one)maybe were you found yours was very scarce at the time I don't see how he is gonna get a game like that for $7 but I would definitely go with MHU4.I recommend trying the demo and see if you like it.
