The Tent that is Cool
Towns Folk
My favorite is Froakie!

Treecko! Once it becomes Sceptile, it has awesome Special Attack and Speed, lots of utility moves and an incredible mega, which can be paired with a Pokemon spamming Discharge and see your Special Attack fly through the roof! It also draws in Thunder Wave and other annoying Electric moves! And even if you don't mega evolve it, you can still benefit from Unburden to outspeed almost every Pokemon in existence!

That's awesome! Mine is Froakie because it has amazing sweeper potential as greninja just like treeko once it evolves into sceptile! Thanks for being the first one to post!

I like Snivy. Don't judge me. Only a good player can make Snivy good.

Actually, no. Everyone can just go with a Contrary Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, Dragon Pulse and Glare/Mirror Coat/Hidden Power Serperior! Skill and experience play no part in that whatsoever!

Well, for once nobody hates on Snivy. That's a first, amirite?

While I DO use Serperior and, depending on the occasion, pretty consistently, but I really hate it! It's more of a one-trick-pony than basic Lopunny! Every single member of my team can easily destroy it, often without even getting hit!

I've always liked Snivy because It was the first Grass starter that I actually liked :p Plus Serperior is a really competitive Pokemon :3

In my opinion, my favourite starter has to be Oshawott. Since, I first set eyes on him when i purchased black. I loved him. I thought his final evolution looked amazing!!!

My favorite starter has to be Fenniken. It was because of that animation by tiarawhy that I choose him in the first place. But unlike the other starters I've chosen, Fenniken is the one I've enjoyed spending more time training with. And Poké-amie makes it even better.

Either Charmander or Pikachu. I loved them as my starters.. Things were so simple and fun back then in Pokemon. Don't get me wrong, I love how the new ones are and I still enjoy it- but there's something about the original games that the new ones just don't have.
actually.......

Bulbasaur. The first ever Pokémon game I played properly was Leaf Green, when I was like 4-6? I don't remember properly but I picked it up before my first surgery. (I was getting an adenoidectomy. If you're curious as to what that is but can't be bothered to google it, click on the spoiler.)
Adenoids are things kids have like near your nasal cavity or something? They work similar to tonsils (Protect you from harmful bacteria) but disappear around the time you become a teenager. Sometimes though they puff up and swell and have to be prematurely removed. It's a common surgery for kids to have though. But me being said kid, was pretty freaked out by this. I thought surgery always meant something serious like I was dying or something.
I started playing it in the hospital. I was abroad for this with nothing much, so me being bored out of my mind, I immersed myself in this game I picked up there. I've played Pokemon before on other people's gameboys, sure. But this is the first game I've actually owned.
So I picked Bulbasaur for the simple reason that Venusaur was the one on the cover of the game. Not really much of a great reason, but it's a start. xD
I finished the game with it and it really grew on me, I guess. Sounds a bit cliché, but yeah. That's how it goes.
I got into competitive battling during gen 4, and Venusaur was on my actual team. It worked well against the teams my friends used at the time (With a bit of support from the rest of the team, of course) which was even more reason for me to love it.
In gen 5, I ran a sun team starring ninetales and venusaur, and it was my favorite thing ever because sleep powder, growth, sludgebomg/giga drain with x2 Speed. It was bulky and hit like a truck. :giggle:
Gen 6 nerfed weather, making it really hard to run that strategy but did grant Venusaur a Megastone, so there's that. It's a pain when partnered with heatran. :rotfl:
