My favorite Starter is Bulbasaur because my first pokemon was a bulbasaur. I also use bulbasaur because its underated.

Charmander FTW! This cute fire dragon was and is one of my favorite pokemon not to mention favorite fire types :)

I LOVE INFERNAPE his design is just soooooooo coooooool i love him and i always choose him in the sinnoh region which is my favourite soooo...... yeah Infernape in the anime also is fricking cool and OP idk i loved him in the league when ash lost and for some reason the team rockec was cheering him up xD

I have to agree with you there my favorite is froakie as well and i normally don't really care for the water starters in the pokemon games.
That said froakie is super cool and mega sweet looking my first stater in kalos was froakie and i beat the game with him easily.

I love Charmander. I loved Charmander in the anime. Charizard is the coolest and most amazing Pokemon ever. Charmander is always my partner in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, too. I also think his Mega Charizard X form is the best, I love it to bits. Probably more than Mega Lucario, which is my favorite Pokemon ever.

My favorite starter changes so frequently, so I can't say for sure, but right now it's Chikorita. I'm not a competitive person, so I really just look for cuteness in my starters. And Chikorita is amazingly cute!! It's so tiny and it has a little leaf on it's head and all Chikorita fanart is just absolutely adorable. A close second would have to be Bulbasaur, for many of the same reasons. I just seem to like grass types.

My favorite starter pokemon of all times is charmander. Charmander is my favorite starter pokemon becauseit has one of the coolest types in the hole pokemon game seris.Also i like charmander because he is one of the three original pokemon. Another reason why like charmander because he is the cutest pokemon every in pokemon history.

Contrary to a lot of people I disliked almost all starters when they were released & so boxed my starters and went through the games without them, like a magician or something.
....Snivy & Fennekin are the only two starters that I saw and immediately liked. They're about tied, but do like Snivy's evolutionary line a bit better in that whenever I have a Fennekin or Braixen, I'm not quite sure about evolving it, but do anyway because having power is important in base pokémon games... I have never thought about not evolving a snivy to the wonderful snek that is Jalorda.

My favorite starter was Mudkip, until they released Mega Swampert. He's not bad, I guess, I just don't like it's design :p
So right now my favorite starter is Charmander. Evolve it into Charizard, give him Charizardite X and BAM! :D

Cyndaquil, because it evolves into the beast known as Typlosion. It's design is pretty awesome, and I tend to prefer fire type starters myself. I like it's name too (Typlosion), it's creative and the fact it sounds like an 'explosion' is neat. Cyndaquil is adorable and is way better than any of the other fire type-starters (imo). What's not to love about a fire elemental mouse? xD

My favorite starter is pretty overrated. I mean next to Pikachu Charmander is actually pretty overrated. The reason he is my favorite is because he's a baby dragon and on top of that in the very first gen he was so op along with Dragonite. They (Pokémon company) have totally Nerfed his power but still is my favorite cause I have always loved dragons.

My favorite is a split tie between mudkip or froakie. froakie because of it's evolution, greninja has quite high speed and good in competitive battling. Mudkip be cause #iherdyouliekmudkipz

I love so many starters... Meganium, Charizard, And Greninja are some of my favorites. But overall my favorite is Infernape. It was my first starter and it looks AMAZING once it evolves. Competitively it's not very good anymore but it used to be an amazing sweeper.

I also like Mudkip. It's cute :p

FROKIE TOO!!!
I hadn't been liking the starters since gen iv, but then froakie showed up when they announced XY and I saw that adorable frog face and I fell in love; the rest is history.
