Why is everyone scared of the new 3DS?

Well darn mines barely two years old and there's already a new one...I heard it's better than the current one and seeing all the comments are making wonder if I should go for the new one...but knowing me I will go out and get it despite everything.

I'm just like that. I have yet to get the Wii U but I will eventually...then at that point there's probably going to be a Wii U 2 or Wii 180....:sneaky:

I wasn't surprised or scared about it in the least. I was waiting for a new 3DS iteration announcement during August because the 2DS had been announced at the end of August in 2013, so it was only a matter of time.

I plan on getting it on release and personally am quite excited for it. I use my 3DS almost daily so the faster loading times seem worth it alone to me.

As for those that feel ripped off over it, I understand it, but I've already owned 5 different 3DS'. I'm going to buy whatever Nintendo makes regardless.

I got a 3DS way back in early 2012. April 2013, my 3DS was stolen. However my grandmother didn't believe me when I told her (she said I must have lost it). She said that I couldn't buy a new one till we were sure it wasn't in our house. 2014 I knew I would never find it but she still wouldn't let me buy a new one. So when visiting my grandpa he got me a 3DSXL as a Christmas gift. Then not even 1 month later I find out that the N3DS is coming out....it's rather disappointing. Suddenly my 3DSXL doesn't look so appealing when I realize I am going to miss out on a better one. It's honestly disheartening

To be honest I really dont feel scared of the NEW 3DS. I bought my 3ds xl on my birthday in May 2014. Now I'm selling 3ds xl and animal crossing new leaf for 170$. Really the new 3ds in Canada cost like 230$ plus tax. And if you have to buy a charger it would be like 260$ withou tax. (Tax in Canada, ontarion is 13%) so I'm basically only paying 90$ extra for new 3ds. Plus I know for sure the next gen of handheld for nintendo is comming at 2018 or 2019

I'm far from scared of this upcoming handheld. I do have mixed feelings about it though. I think it's much too soon to introduce a new 3DS. I just feel sorry for those who bought a normal 3DS/XL recently, as they may not be able to afford the new one. Time to save up your pennies! xD
