Would you play a game with Toad as the main character?

it could be great but only if nintendo change his (or their ) voice, he had a good voice in mari kart 64 and mario party 3 why did they change it to that COOOME ON screech !
also Toad did appear as the main character in the Snes game Wario Woods ( no wario is not the hero here )

Marc you predicted the future.

Captain Toad is great, though I feel they could have done something more. I'm glad they didn't just make another platformer, but puzzle games are bleh to me. Captain Toad was fun though.

I always pick toad he's cute and he got a funny voice in Mario kart 64 i always chose him i thought he'll get an extra boost cuz he's a mushroom !!:p

well i would have to say yes just not a puzzle game im not good at puzzle games and so i wold if it was not a puzzle game and so yes and no im not good at captain toad treasure tracker at all and so just not puzzle games.

Seeing now that there is a game for toad on the wii u called Captain Toad,i'm happy for him and the graphics and the gameplay is good but I would like to play with any Mario character in any game except some of the bad guys.

No, Toad is the worst character there is in Mario Kart 7. He is the one right behind me in single player and in multi player he is usually the one who beats me.

He doesn't seem like main character quality. If I remember correctly, I remember playing a game that has multiple versions of Toad as if Toad was a species. Whereas, Mario and Luigi etc. are always singularly shown throughout Mushroom Kingdom.

I would play a game as Toad, as long as it's the one with yellow spots. I think that the game should be a different adventure that what Mario usually does. I also think it would be a little cool to play as the villains such as the Goombas or Bowser. You see so many games that are all alike and it starts to get boring, sure there's a risk to putting out different games but that's what I'd like. So in all I think that playing as Toad would be cool :thumbsup:

Yes, I would love to play one. I have always loved playing as toad in the mario kart games throughout the years, and look forward to being able to play as toad in the future. I cannot play treasure tracker, as I do not have a wii u, but I would love a quick, fun game with toad as the main character.

Now that there is one (Toad's Treasure Tracker/Wii U), I personally wouldn't because it doesn't really appeal to me, to say the least. It just doesn't suit Toad at all, he's better off staying as a side character in Mario games. That's what he's better known as. :p

I agree With Mikaya. Some characters are just fit to be a side character or a guide. Treasure tracker looks like a fun game With a New and creative gameplay, but I wont buy it because his stages in super Mario 3d world was enough captain toad for me. I liked to play as captain toad as a character in the Mario games, but I think he should stay that way.

yes! that would be very awesome! toad is a videogame character that needs to have his own game! he is very cute and cool. i would probably play that games for hours and hours. i want that to happen!

I think that now that there is Treasure Tracker , I personally would like more games with Toad as the main character , since that game seems really fun and interesting . Though Toad isn't really much acknowledged much , I hope that there are more games with him as Main character :3

Minus the theory that Toad(s) are evil, I love Toad, he is so cute and has a great design, I really want for him to have his own game, not just a silly side character in the story. I would buy it and Toad can send out spores to put them to sleep or paralyze them xD Or launch itself and hit other characters with its bouncy and squishy head :3

OMG Toad IK my opinion is biased since you know my username. (CrashTOAD124 I mean did you think it meant the frog looking thing?) Anyways I love Toads I've always loved their playful fun nature ever since I was a small child and I still do I mean they're adorable and great and I love playing as Toad in any game that I can play as Toad in. Plus he's in Mario Party games so he's kind of important ;-;.

Did you predict Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker? Because it really looks like you just did. @Marc, please, predict a game where the roles of Bowser and Mario are switched, kind of like Donkey Kong Jr., with the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. being held captive. But it would be more combat based, instead of platform-based.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was an good spin-off game and I loved the levels of it as well, but I think toad needs more. And since toad is now being recognized by nintendo after being a character in mario since the very start. If there was a non-continuation game unlike treasure tracker, like a platforming game for toad, I would love to see it. Like, alot.

No. Personally this character needs LESS love on purpose. He should be that Mario character that is so annoying and always gets picked on or in other words the comic relief. I'd much rather play a game where Birdo, Stanley, Wart, Tatanga, Wario, Waluigi or Goomba is the main character or villain than Toad as they are more deserving of the spotlight. Seriously, they need to work on more character development if they want to get somewhere with the Mario series (other than Party or Sports games).

But, I have played a game with toad as the main character. It's called captain toad treasure tracker. It is an excellent game on the wii u , and has much creativity and is probably one of the most original games I've ever played. In an era wher most games are just first person shooter clones of themselves, this game really stands out among the masses of other games. It even stands out amongst most mario games for its creative and original level design and music. It rally is an excellent addition to the wiiu librarylibrary
