You'd think green is for guys and yellow is for gals but I chose yellow because it looks more swag-like

I chose green, because yellow hurts my eyes if I look at it for too long. (Considering breeding...)

I picked yellow because my brother and friend both chose green. I wish they would let you choose any other basic color, that would be cool .o.

I chose Yellow. A lot of people I know chose Green, and I wanted to choose the color that no one wanted. I wanted to be unique, and Yellow is one of my favorite colors.

Yeah, I'm enjoying it myself and it stands out radiantly to my players' attire which his clothes are the same from the start of the game (his clothes probably stink of wet grass and potion stains).

I went with green because yellow is to pale. I also thought it might blend in with the ground (thinking of old routes in Diamond and Platinum). Green is cooler anyways.
