Super Mario 64 was the first game I owned. I Did play Mario Bros for the NES and Super Nintendo. The game was a whole new adventure for me, not to mention N64 was new at the time, and as a kid I experienced some major advancement in gaming.

My first Mario game was Mario Kart: Double Dash. I remember my parents got me a Nintendo Gamecube and Mario Kart: Double Dash when I was 5. I played that game so much, and it a really nostalgic game for me. Even typing about it now brings back memories.

I remember playing a GBA with Super Mario Advance 2 - Super Mario World and I thought it was amazing. But the game I really remember is Mario Kart Wii, my Mario game of all time. 2008 was definitely a good year for me xD The replay value in this game is amazing and online play was great. The game was broken, so I like to break it some more, it gives you a reason to stick around, instead of just leaving after beating the game, but ever since the Nintendo WFC shut down, I don't play as much. But there is a hack called Wiimmfi, where you can play online, but after a few days my Wiimmfi didn't work. Lol, I just drifted off talking about MKW. But yeah, Super Mario Advance 2 - Super Mario World and Mario Kart Wii are the first Mario games I remember playing.

SMBDX for the GBC. I think it is a classic and it keeps my time occupied because there are many extras for those people think they are the best

The first Mario game that. I've ever played, from what I remember, was a port of Super Mario World to the Game Boy Advance, and I remember being really fun, even though I got stuck in some levels, since I was very new at the time I had the game, but unfortunately,I don't have the game and my GBA now, since I remember giving them to my uncle. But the first Mario game that I ever OWNED,was either Mario Kart DS or Super Mario 64 DS.MKDS is probally my favorite Mario Kart game out there, competing with MK8(Reminder:I never played any MK game that came before DS,even though I still hope to play 64 and Double Dash sometime in the future,if possible),and SM64DS was great and nostalgic to me,like MKDS.

My first Mario game was one of the Ness System, I was about 7 years old and I remember that I used to spend long hours playing to it. Nowadays I have a 3ds console and my first Mario game for it was New Super Mario bros 2. I really like it, I have finished it but I am playing to it for a sencond time :) It is so enjoyable

Yoshi's Island 2
the levels, the design, the art and graphics all hit home for me. PS: Sunshine is sometimes underrated though. i mean, it was a great game, despite it being so different, but when is that ever a bad thing? as long as it's good... i mean, Sunshine has got to be the most original Mario game ever made. along with Luigi's Mansion .#

What got me into the Mario series was Super Mario Bros. 3 (the All Stars version) on my child minder's old SNES. From then on, I got my first DSi, got SM64 DS and off it went from there. Next came NSMB, etc, etc.

My first Mario Game was, well, Mario Bros, the original. and it looked nothing like how it is now. Then it was Super Mario Bros on the NES that came with Duck Hunt. I really liked that but couldn't really make it far. I was young and the game didn't save so, I played the first levels a lot, and a lot, and a lot.

My first was Super Mario World. I loved it and weirdly I got use to it easily, since I started with 3d games like Crash Bandicoot. Super Mario World was one of my favorite mario games ever since and I still love it till this very day it entertains me with the game mechanics it has as old as it is it's still pretty freaken great.

It was an MS-DOS version of the original Super Mario Bros. I found the turtles very difficult to get past, but it was fun. Good times :)

Good old Super Mario Bros.. For Famiclone :D

But if I'd say about modern series, it is New Super Mario Bros (in DS emulator) and MarioKart 7 (in 3DS). The second was better, I think. It was my own licensed game and I got it with 3DS itself while I was buying it during the last Black Friday.
