Super Mario World on SNES. I remember the game cartridge had some sort of problem (which I never was able to figure out what it was while I had it) which caused the game save to be wiped every once in a while. I used to deeply hate Mario games because of that until very recently when Super Mario Odyssey led me to a change of heart.
