So the root started ro sink slowly... slowly... slowly...

Even the cat was tired of it at this point...

The shrimps have been living pretty well for a bit over a week already, so we decided to go ahead and introduce the guppies, along with some new plants. The Apisto Parrots are hard to find fish when we are out of season, so it might take a while before we are able to find it, and they are a bit more expensive as well (20$ per fish and we want 3).

It's slowly starting to look like something?

Sadly, fish can be sick, and this is what happened. We had our guppies for 2 weeks and decided to add 3 more, and they were sick, so they got our whole tank sick...

We had to put some medication in the tank and rise the temperature to get rid of the sickness, and some plants didn't like it and died :(

Once the sickness was over, we got some new plants to replace the dead ones (the big one in the middle died, as well as all the long ones on each side of the tank), a Betta and a backgound.

We've been told by the petshop that it was impossible to keep a Betta with guppies, but I did it twice already in the past. It was a hard task but it is now happy and friendly with all the other residents, you can see it in the front, on the right. And look, the root is where it's supposed to be! Finally!

We will have to wait for the plants to grow for the tank to feel a bit less empty!

Also, we got our first babies, can you spot them? There are two on the picture :)

Sure! I used to have a fish tank like almost 10 years ago but had to get rid of it, and my bf got me one in December to start a new project to keep me busy :)
