Day 11, Part One
I kept listening to the story... "OK, so let me get this straight,"I said. There's this big bad dude who wants to kill everyone. Hes got unique powers and blah blah blah, so on. He destroys some village, and he picked a fight with the wrong dude. OK, you can continue now."
"Anyways,"Jackson said. "Once the guy destroyed the village, the second most powerful human with powers comes out of the ashes. His power was storm powers, and even though a few others shared his ability, none had mastered it as well as he had. I believe he was your ancestor. The run down: There was a big fight, Evil dude won, your ancestor lost but lived. Later on, your ancestor assembled a team of the most powerful people, in hopes to destroy his enemy. Once he did, there was an ultimate battle, and it looked like the end of the world. Your ancestor and his team won, and everyone was safe for centuries to come. I was able to return to the site of the battle, and retrieve this blade. Unfortunately, there were others there who wanted it as well. I guess they were part of that group trying to kill us. Once I got the blade, I left in my plane immediately and came here."
I couldn't help but stare at the sword. Even though it was rusted and old, I was impressed. I felt kind of weird, almost as if the blade were pulsing. I took an uncontrollable step forward, then another, until I was right up on the glass. I lifted of the glass cover, and set it on the floor.
"Uh, Troy, what are you-"
I grabbed the sword by it's handle, and there was a blinding flash. A wave of energy slammed into both of us, sending us flying out of the weapons room and back into the main area with the four doors. I staggered to my feet. I limped my way back into the weapons room, and was shocked at what I found. Instead of a rusted, nearly broken sword, there was a gleaming brand new shiny sword. It's blade was a straight edge, about 3 feet long and around one foot wide. The entire sword was pure black, hilt and all. Engraved onto the blade were two symbols. A Whirlpool, and a Lightning Bolt...
