Day 6, Part One
I landed on my back... I scrambled to my feet and began running at top speed. As I rounded the corner to get to the front yard, I barreled into Jackson, knocking us both over. I could hear the guy that had been after me screaming for re-enforcement's. I helped Jackson up, and we both sprinted for his private garage. Jackson shot the lock off of the door, and I raised it for him, and then I slid in myself.
"Dude, the motorcycles are gone!" Jackson exclaimed. "And all of the car keys!"
I cursed silently. "We'll have to make it on foot, and here." I tossed him his bow, which he slipped over his shoulders. We raced out of the garage, and across his back yard.
"There!" a voice screamed. "Kill them!"
About 30 more guys were on motorcycles, and were racing towards us. We picked up speed, and we finally made it out of his back yard. We sprinted across a back road and plunged into the woods across from his house. We could here the bikes getting closer, and quick.
"We need to find a really big tree!" I panted.
"There!" Jackson pointed in front of us. We both leaped, and grabbed the lowest branch. We kept climbing, until about 20 feet up. We were almost completely hidden in it's leaves. I signaled to Jackson to stay quiet. A few seconds later, the motorcycles burst into the clearing. The leader jumped off, and cursed. "Those blasted children got away, onward! Search every inch!" They drove off in different directions, and one guy stayed to search the clearing.
"Dude, your not going to like what im about to say," I whispered.
"What?"
"I've got a plan..."
