Day 6, Part Two
I quickly discussed the plan... After making sure Jackson understood, I was ready. My plan was praticly suicide, but I knew it was all in the timing. I tensed as the guy approached his motorcycle. He had gotten off and done a quick sweep of the clearing, and luckily he hadn't spotten us yet. As he got back on his motorcycle, I leaped from my branch. I fell twenty feet, and I managed to tackle him off of his bike. We both rolled head over heels, and I hit my head on a rock. My vision was double, but I managed to get on top of him and start punching. I kept punching until I was certain he was unconscious, then I got off and staggered towards his bike. Jackson was already doing his part. One quick shot, and he took out another biker from two hundred yards away. I took all of the equipment the two guys were carrying, then we grabbed their bikes and started them up. We were about to drive off, but unfortunately my plan was ruined when a voice said "There!" Next thing we knew, we were racing through the forest on our motorcycles, with dozens of guys on motorcycles after us. We swerved onto the main road, then raced off.
"We need to get to the city!" Jackson yelled over the wind. "We could probably loose them with all of traffic and buildings!"
"Ok, lead the way!" I yelled back. We both sped up to about 160, pushing our bikes to the limit. The guys behind us kept pace, and I knew we were in trouble when one of them pulled out a gun and started shooting at us. A bullet pierced my shoulder, but I just clenched my teeth and kept driving. Up ahead I saw the bright lights of tall buildings, and I felt a swell of hope. We had finally made it to the city...
