The bikers backed up... I could see they were preparing to make the jump. Jackson easily solved that. As they were about to step on the gas, Jackson fired one of his pistols. The bullet hit a propane tank, that was surrounded by more propane tanks on the other roof. I looked away as the propane tanks exploded. The force was so powerful it sent both of us flying backwards. Exhausted, we managed to stagger our way into the building and take the elevator down. We stepped out onto the street, and waited. Jackson used his cell phone, and dialed somebody. After another couple minutes of awkward silence, a black Camaro with dark green stripes pulled up.
"Troy, get in, it's our ride."
Jackson crawled in the back, then I got into the passenger seat.
"Jackson Wolf, July 1st, 1999, you know where to go,"Jackson told the man driving.
"Ok, hold on," I said. "Who is this, whats going on, why do...why did those guys want you dead, and where are we going?"
"This is my private driver,"Jackson said. "I'll tell you why those guys want me dead when we reach our destination, and as for the destination itself, you will see when we get there. Nobody on earth knows where it is, or that it even exists, except my driver here. Anyways, yeah, you'll see where we are going. Dude, you've had a long day, you should get some rest."
"I don't need rest," I complained. "I cant even remember when I last had a pizza... That was like what, a week ago?"
"Get some sleep, and I may pick up some pizza on the way there."
I started to smile, but it turned into a pained wince. My shoulder throbbed where I had gotten shot. My shirt was soaked with blood, but Jackson hadn't noticed yet. I didn't really want to worry him, so I pulled my jacket over the wound. I could always tell him later. I leaned against the door, and fell asleep...
