Day 8, Part Two
I groaned and sat up...I was in a huge bed, with a bunch of tubes stuck in me. I looked to my left, and Jackson was sitting in a chair, watching me worriedly.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Like I got hit with a bus, backed over, and run over again."
"Your lucky your not
dead,"he said. "The doctor said that bullet was laced with some sort of snake venom he had never seen before, and all of their tests came up inconclusive. The only reason your alive was because you already had another venom in your system."
"The Black-Banded-Sea-Krait. I was hit with it's poison about a week ago," I mumbled.
"Yes, well your extremely lucky. There's like, 2 percent of people who get hit with that poison and actually overcome it. Your in that 2 percent. It's now circulating throughout your entire body, not harming you, but protecting you from anything else that enters your body."
"That's really good to hear, but where are we?" I asked.

I ripped out the tubes in me, and I slowly lowered myself to the floor. The moment my feet touched the tile, I collapsed.
"Your still really week, and you cant walk for at least another day," Jackson explained as he helped me back up.
"Wait... another day? How long have I been out?"
"...... 2 weeks," Jackson said slowly. "But let's not worry about that, we should get out of here. The guys after us may come back."
He eased me into a wheelchair, and then wheeled me out of the room...
