The Legend of Zelda: Intertwined Destinies. Part 19

Link ran up to a small house with an envelop in his hands. He ran to the door slot and met an old woman. She lit up seeing he was a mailman. "Oh, you've come to bring my mail today." she said with cheer and accepted the letter. "Such a patient person you are, you remind me of my son - who's also a mailman."
He rolled his eyes to the woman's rambling, and turned to leave. "Tell him I said hello." she said to Link before he ran off to resume his job.

Link stopped by a mailbox to catch his breath. He ran to deliver letters all through the morning, and needed a break for just a moment.
Another mailman stopped to rest next to Link, and spoke to him. "You're doing good Liam. Well... better than yesterday." The mailman said while sipping his water. Link reached for his own bottle and began drinking from it. "We've got a- hey hey! easy with that water, that's gotta last you the entire day," when he saw he was drinking hard, Link stopped the flow of water. "I know this is tough, but think of it as a workout... Ah, better not spend all day here chit-chatting." the mailman takes off to the north. Link was already exhausted from his rounds, yet he wasn't even half finished. The task of delivering mail for an entire village proved difficult, even for the most light-footed of people. Not just anyone could deliver like these men could.
He rises from the mailbox and starts south.

"Thanks sir," a burly man said to Link, before he closed the door on him. Link saw his next house and started toward it, Until a scream stopped him. He turned to see a hooded figure dashing off south from the kitchen, with a young woman on its sholders. Link ran for the figure, and the girl looked up at Link. He ran until he lost his breath - not too far from his running all morning. He fell to his knees. He looked down on the ground when he landed, he failed to save someone from peril.
Frantic clucking followed with a battle cry erupted from above him, and he saw the boy from earlier, Kael, gliding on the wings of a cucco. The boy caught up with the figure and grabbed its neck. The hooded figure stumbled to the ground. They fought furiously. Link rose to his feet and ran to help him, but the figure shoved Kael off its back and struck him. A wall of fire emerged before them. They watched as the figure ran, carrying the woman on his shoulder. "Lynette!" Kael shouted. Then he tired to pursue the man. Link holds him by the shoulder, away from the fire. "Lemme go guy, I gotta save her!" he jerked away trying to free himself. "Gah, darn it!" he fell to the ground, "Why'd he take her? he came with those Hylian guys, and he just takes her? What for? she didn't do anything wrong," he sobbed in frustration. Link was certain that all of Hyrule was after him, but why Lynette? She couldn't have done anything wrong. Link didn't know why, but he felt something was happening at Hyrule.

(I should really make that Thumbnail soon... Kudos to @Erix Summerdown for his help in spotting my errors.)
