The Legend of Zelda: Intertwined Destinies. part 27

Zelda spent most of the day with Link, planning their next move. But she couldn't concentrate. She worried about Ceris's well being. Her reaction to losing Bremeur resinated with Zelda throughout the morning. Since that event, Ceris had locked herself within the horse stall refusing to exit.
"Well... if we leave north today, we could make it half-way to the lost sanctuary. But..."
"Is it Ceris?" Link looked worried, which is rare to see from him.
"She-... I'm afraid that she blames me for Bremeur's death..." she answers. "I... I'm aware she's confused with grief, but... is she-... "what if our coming here brought those men over?" She adjusted her beret. He shook his head calmly, "We saved her that night." he said simply, and he was right in saying that. Had they not stayed the night there, she too would be gone.
"You're right... but we can't leave yet..." she turned back to the stall, "not with Ceris like this"

Link was alone to gather the supplies for their travel. They had less leaving from Ordon than previously expected, Link knew they would need to make another stop soon.
When he finished, he walked to where the church stood, now a smoking mass upon the burned grass. For reasons unknown he just stood there, in a confused mixture of emotions. He was sad for the old priest and the destruction of his church. He also felt angry at the men who caused it - such an ordeal like that was dreadful. But what worried him more was the questions that came to him throughout this trip.

Link didn't notice at first, but someone joined him at the church spot interrupting his thought. He first thought it was Zelda, but when he turned his head he saw it was Ceris instead. She said nothing as she stared into space, she was still grieving for her father.
"I heard that you helped me last night." she said gently. "Thank you." she added, Link nods to her calmly.
They turn back to the church without another word.
"He's gone.... but I can't understand why. This whole thing is dreadful." she wavered. "I miss him..." she sobbed, drying her eyes. "I regret my behavior with your friend. She really didn't do anything."
"But she understands." Link spoke suddenly. "She lost her father too."
"I-... I didn't realize." she gasped.
"Ceris..." rose a voice from behind them. Ceris turned to face Zelda standing there.
"... Tetra..." Ceris sputtered.
"It's alright," said Zelda, "I may have been a fool to tell you so soon about Bremeur."
"I'm sorry for saying you-... I know you-..."
"Don't worry about that,"
"... I had no right to blame you for this."
"It's alright," Zelda repeated as she placed a hand on Ceris's shoulder in a gingerly manner. "I'm not sure what's happening, but let me aid you..."
"... I couldn't ask for your help..."
"Ceris... I am so sorry this tragedy has befallen you. But I-er... we both want to help."
Ceris thought for a moment, and then she nodded. "There's a village not far from here, the men there can help me fix the church but the way there is dangerous and I-..."
"You needn't say further, we'll help escort you." Zelda spoke.
