Hey everyone! MasterofBasics here, with the finale of “The Smash Bros. Mystery”! Sorry for being so late 
but here I am, finishing it up for all of you to see.

Note: I know the Smash Direct happened, but I’m not gonna update my story. Like I said at the beginning, if any news came out, I wouldn’t update my story to reflect it, that would cram it in late. Enough with the chatter.. Enjoy!
Greninja was practicing an epic move. He vanished, did a kick on a dummy, and then leaped into the air and did a down-air. Greninja was pleased with this, exclaiming: “GRENINJA!”
While Greninja was training, Pac-Man was breaking in. He jumped up with the trampoline, then he got a key and threw it at the window, shattering it. Greninja heard it, and came running to see what was the matter. He saw, to his horror, Pac-Man coming in. He sprang into action, pulling off his combo on Pac-Man.
“Agh!” Pac-Man said in pain.
Greninja grabbed him by the neck, and was about to kill him, for the good of Smash Bros.
When all of a sudden, Knuckles came out of nowhere, and gave Greninja the hardest punch Greninja would ever face. His skull fractured, and he was dead. He flew across the room, slamming into the wall.
“Wow… thanks for saving me.” Pac-Man said, nervously.
“Anytime. Also, I don’t need you anymore.”
“Wait, what?” Pac-Man was surprised.
“I plan to do the last revenge kill myself… it’s fitting, right?” Knuckles said.
“Wait, but what about my reputation? Everyone thinks I am a murderer!”
“Oh, it will come to light soon enough. Now.. shoo!”
Pac-Man ran away, looking back one more time, and then running, trampolining.
Isabelle was still getting everything organized. Taking the flowers for the desk, the pens, the monitors, the keyboards…
“Phew! I still have a lot to unbox...”
She spent hours getting everything in place. During that time, Knuckles was arriving to end her life, as the last in the chain of murders.
Pac-Man witnessed Knuckles going to the Apartment Complex. He knew he had to alert everyone, but how?
Then, he knew just what to do. He got a loud speaker, and said:
“EVERYONE! COME HERE!”
No one was listening. They were all starting to report him. Then, suddenly, Pac-Man got an idea.
He grabbed 64 giant M&Ms packets, and then said:
“FREE M&Ms! Come get your FREE M&Ms!”
Everyone flocked to get their free M&Ms. Every fighter got one (except the dead ones and Isabelle, who was in her apartment.)
“Now, listen: I was not the murderer.. Knuckles is the murderer! Look, you can see him jumping to Isabelle’s apartment! Do you see that knife in his hand?”
“Well, maybe he’s just donating a kitchen knife?”, one fighter said.
“Yeah, this doesn’t prove anything. Everything points to you!”
He went back on stage, and gathered everyone, who were still angry.
“Now, I have definitive proof that Knuckles is the murderer!”
He took out a Pac-Man shaped device, and pressed a button.
His last conversation with Knuckles came to light:
”Wow… thanks for saving me.”
”Anytime. Also, I don’t need you anymore.”
“Wait, what?”
“I plan to do the last revenge kill myself… it’s fitting, right?”
“Wait, but what about my reputation? Everyone thinks I’m a murderer!”
“Oh, it will come to light soon enough.. Now shoo!”
The fighters heard the audio, shocked. Maybe Knuckles was the murderer… and if he was, then he had definitely “come to light”. Everyone was angry at Knuckles. They felt bad for treating Pac-Man like this.
“We have to work together, before it is too late! Are you gonna stand for the truth?” Pac-Man asked with a burning passion.
“THE TRUTH MUST BE STOOD FOR!” All the fighters proclaimed.
They all charged at Knuckles, all of them using Pac-Man’s trampoline. Pac-Man had to keep remaking his trampoline however, so it took a minute or so to get everyone up.
Location: Smashtopia Rooftops, close to the apartment building.
Knuckles was terrified, and worse yet, the yelling warned Isabelle. She looked out the window, and saw Knuckles coming, with an angry expression.
“Hey! No one’s murdering me!” She grabbed a party popper, and popped it in Knuckles’ face SO LOUD, that it knocked him back over to the fighters, where he got beaten up badly.
The newspaper title red: “PAC-MAN proven innocent; Knuckles found guilty!”
Knuckles was thrown in jail, Pac-Man was back into training, a proper funeral for the casualties was placed, Isabelle finished organizing, and Dog found a new Duck to be friends with. Thus, a happy ending indeed.
